User reviews

Nice material, Fantastical optical clarity..., 2008-12-16
The Javo screen protector is a good choice for those who wish to preserve their blackberry displays. The screen protector is made from a surprisingly durable and scratch resistant material. Also, this screen is very clear; it does not diminish screen viewing in anyway. The only potential issue with this product is installation. To get optimal performance, the phone should be cleaned thoroughly before application and you must be very carefully while adhering. To avoid air bubbles under the screen it must be applied slowly and evenly. As with all stick on screen protectors, they do not last forever. After months of everyday use, the screen will potentially pull off or slide around. This is normal and happens much less frequently with the Javo brand. You will do better to go with this screen protector and pay a few dollars extra than some extremely cheap brand that will only last a short time. Hope I was helpful!

Probably one of the best, 2008-09-21
I have had this screen protector for about 2 months now and would hate to see what the unprotected screen would look like at this point.
Application was fairly easy (compared to other screen protectors I have tried) although you have to be very careful and diligent to get out all the air bubbles.
The price is pretty steep for just one protector and after 2 months it's scratched up enough that I am thinking of replacing it. I should mention though that I am carrying my Berry in my pocket, frequently together with keys and other stuff.
I would wish for at least two screens for that price, but you do get great quality. The protected screen is just as clear and bright as the unprotected. A good buy!

Rather good, but could cover more area., 2008-09-02
While I do like this screen protector and it did go on pretty easily and all that it could cover more of the plastic on the screen.

This protector basically only covers the area that the screen shows through, NO more or less. NO MORE being key. There is a lot of plastic around the screen that could easily be covered as well as right over top of the screen. Seems like they just wanted to skimp on materials and not give the customer a little more to help prevent scratches surrounding the screen as well.

Don't get me wrong this is a good product though. Just don't put it on in a windy room (fans). I ended up with a tiny fiber on the bottom as a result.

It does go on rather easy and wow does it stick to the screen! I hope to be able to leave this on for some time as I don't want to have scratches. Seems like it's going to stay rather easily for some time!

Clarity, they seem to boast about how clear their screen protectors are and well... I'll give them that one. It is pretty clear! But like the actual screen it does attract finger prints quite easily (The reason I give it a 4 and not a 5). It would be nice if it wasn't so prone to finger prints.

When applying I had noticed a couple small bubble fragments so to speak. Like tiny bubbles in a couple areas. Well that went away within a day of having it on the screen.

Pull tabs, they use them to make it easy to take off the adhesive side cover as well as the outside cover after it's applied. Kind of a cool idea, normally you have to site there and fight with a little edge that never separates.

Over all GREAT PRODUCT, just wish the finger prints weren't such a problem.

  Perfect fit, 2008-08-15
this is my second screen protector from Javoscreen and they seem to have it down. the protector fits perfectly

This Screen Rocks! Blackberry Curve 8320, 2008-04-17
This protective screen went on easy! It's so clear I thought I took it off when I pealed the protective cover off. I had to run my thumbnail along the edge just to know it still on my phone! If you get any air bubbles while putting it on just back it off while using the supplied card to press it down again and keep doing that with every bubble and eventually I got rid of them all (Peel back..roll on..like a 1/4 inch at a time). I only had a few and when I was done I had none. Also clean the phone screen surface really well and use the dust rag that comes with it. I also used an air can to make sure it was clean. Man I can't tell you enough how happy I am with it! I will be using this Brand from now on! WELL WORTH THE MONEY!

    Kogan Agora in Action

I hope I didn't mislead you with that title. This is not the mythical "G2," as in T-Mobile's G1 successor. This is, however, the "G2" as in the second Google Android phone to hit the market. Kogan's Agora and Agora Pro run Android and are set to ship at the end of this month. Here's some rather poor footage of what looks to be a rather awesome phone in action. I found this clip, I didn't shoot it - the video comes from YouTube user...

    iPhone as heart/cardio monitor

I should exercise. No, really — I need to back off from the keyboard, take the Twinkie out of my mouth and go for a run or something. I should, but I don’t. Working out has never given me big results, so I simply stopped. Still, walking to the grocery store and getting lapped by the senior citizens in my hood is...

    iPhone slideshows, Keynote app

Feeling let down about the keynote address at MacWorld? Yeah, me too. Phil Schiller did a decent job, but he’s not the showman that Steve Jobs is. And the biggest phone-related news had to do with DRM-free tunes and 3G music downloads. (While a step in the right direction, it’s certainly not game-changing — after all, Amazon has had DRM-less tunes for ages). Through all this, however, it may be easy to overlook that there were a couple of kinda...
