User reviews piece of garb..., 2003-08-03 radio: bad reception. you dunno what station you're listening to. horrible sound. the thing is huge for no reason. hands-free: using it messed up my phone (prob. software). save your money for another phone... lousy product, 2002-10-16 i paid around 48 dollars for a device which probably costs less than 2 dollars to make. mine is made in china. it is not stereo at all. no option to fix other headphones. no way of knowing which fm station you listen to. terrible station scan. it falls off often. Disappointing accessory from a good manufacturer, 2002-09-17 OK, this unit does its job--it gives you FM radio on the move with a handsfree, and finally does something useful with all that T39 battery power, but.... It's not as small as you might think from the photos, and given that it doesn't have a battery you wonder what's in the unit to take up all that space. It's certainly not feature-packed either--it doesn't send any info to the phone display, and you have to retune the radio from the bottom of the dial every time you use it with a push button, one-way, station by station search. Despite the bulk it doesn't have a jack, so you're stuck with the moulded-on headphones supplied. As a piece of design it's nothing, a grey plastic box with non-descript buttons that bulks up the phone by clipping on the bottom. You can answer the phone using a switch on the cable but to retune or turn it on and off you have to use the unit. A far better solution would have been to move the whole unit halfway up the cable and have the controls to hand while freeing pocket space. I'll still use it, but Ericsson can do better than this Cheap!, 2001-12-27 I bought this so that I could have the radio while I do some yardwork, etc. and still have my phone with me without another bulky item on my belt. I got this and tried to figure out what it was!! It was an odd colored (didn't match the phone at all) and cheaply made radio with an on/off, scan, and volume switch on a plastic box half the size if the phone. You have no idea what station you are listening to because there is no readout or dial, just a scan switch to get you to the next station. The reception is terrible, and the sound quality is inferior to a ... walkman. The radio easily falls off the phone when bumped and It doesn't fit onto the phone when you have the phone in a holster or carrying case so you have to put it in your pocket... Great Piece, 2001-05-23 Everything about this little gadget works great! Comfortable, great sound. I use it when on Public Transportation. The earpiece and the hands-free capability of speaking is great!
