The charger works ok after some jiggling around. It is difficult to get the connection right. it broke my cell phone, 2008-08-12
I used it twice and then the battery in my 5 month old cell phone failed. My phone would just shut down for no reason. Fortunately the cell phone company replaced my phone but I won't be using this charger anymmore.

I bought this to use with my enV, and it never worked quite right. For the first couple of days, it worked OK, but I would arrive after driving to find that my phone was only partly charged. After about a week, it would not charge my enV at all unless I pressed the charger into the phone. A couple of weeks of pressing my phone into my leg while driving, and the little chargey thing that goes into the phone broke off. I liked the idea of a retractable charger, but it just didn't work for my phone. Car Charger for cell, 2008-07-18
I plugged this up in the car and could not get my LG Rumor plugged into it, I finally was able to plug charger in while stopped in traffic. Once I got to my destination, I unplugged my phone and the charger broke off in my phone!!! Not recommended for LG Rumor!!!! Great product, 2008-07-14
Enjoy the convenience of being able to retract after use. Takes up less space and doesn't get in the way. Excellent product, works very well!
