User reviews headset, 2008-10-10 works very well, anywhere the phone itself would work. my first bluetooth headset so i don't have much to compare it to. Can't get it to fit., 2008-10-04 I don't know, I can't get this thing to stay in my ear, no matter which ear bud fitting I use. Seems ok otherwise, but who can tell with it dropping out of my ear at the slightest movement. Not user friendly, unfortunately, 2008-09-29 Well, this one could be a winner, but it' not.
You have to long-press the buttons to start or finish a call. It's not convenient. It's just not work as it should.
I gave it to a friend of mine who's not using voice dialing. It kind works for him but he is not very satisfied. Pity... Not their best product, 2008-09-17 I saw this device and liked the features it promised (clear reception, extended microphone, special audio cleaning technology, unlimited chcolate cake, blah blah blah)
Well, I did some testing. I used a Nokia and a Samsung phone to test with. The Nokia has BT 1.3 and the Samsung has BT 2.0.
I liked the earbud, but all the sounds coming in were passable but the words would frequently fade in. (the audio cleaning a bit overzealous and there's no way to alter it.)
When testing the microphone, having it fully extended, resulted in a VERY tinny sounding voice.
Heed others' reviews, folks. This product is not good.
I came from a Plantronics 370, which is just about perfect. I expected the 815 to be rather better. It was not, nor did it really deliver on what it promised.
It is going back right away.
HORRIBLE!!, 2008-08-29 This is the most uncomfortable bluetooth ever. There is 3 sizes (like usual w/ plantronics) for your ear. It is this weird suction thing that either doesn't suction and stay in your ear OR it suctions so hard that it puts all this pressure on your inner ear. I tried usind the hook for over the ear and it didn't work either! There are 2 of them and neither fit! I am a big fan of plantronics but this is the worst bluetooth product ever! Oh and the little sliding microphone thing is so cheap, it will break.
