i just recently got the chocolate 2 phone can wanted something to protect it well from small falls (a soft silicone skin just won't do it for me) but still not too thick or tacky looking.
pros:
+ great feel to the touch like described
+ snaps on easily and off
+ just hard enough for some falls b/c it is a thin type of plastic
+ optional to add-on the belt clip feature, so the phone can still look sleek
+ all side buttons and touch pad still accessible
+ great price / quick shipping

cons:
- belt clip piece protrudes too much (i'm not a belt clipper person)
- doesn't slide exactly the same way. it won't have the sudden *snap* as it slides in and out (which we shouldn't do w/ slide phones in the first place). it makes me wonder what part of the phone the case is interfering when it does that.

This snap-on cover has been great protection for my phone. Take note that it's only a rubberized texture; it's not actual rubber. But it looks nice, fits great, and has survived the inevitable times that I drop my phone. I initially had trouble getting the top two buttons to work (near the wheel) because it seemed like the cover was getting in the way. However, I got adjusted to it, and now I can get them to work fine. Recommended!

This item actually looks good enough to have been 'original' accessory for the black Chocolate. The rubberized look and feel is great. Does what it says.

They are protective, but one corner did not fit exactly. The piece that connect the phone to the clip will come loose. I have just used some glue to help keep it in place. I would be again for the price.

I bought this one along with the clear case. I prefer this one (and it's actually on my phone right now). This case doesn't feel like cheap plastic, it feels like hard rubber. The clip is a little too easy to open (again, just like the other one) so I don't trust it clipped onto my belt out on horse trails.
The only reason this didn't get 5 stars is (again) because of the lack of screen protection. I thought maybe it would have some plastic or something to cover the screen (but not the touch part), but no. Completely empty. Definitely disappointed in that.
