I currently use this charger for my LG VX9900 and it works perfectly. This works just like the original OEM charger and is 10x cheaper. What a great deal. I have been using this for about a month now and have not had a problem. Great replacement charger., 2008-07-09

Dont listen to the guy who said it doesnt work in his phone. The charger is not for his phone model, he should have looked at that beofre buying it. the charger for the lg8700 was a waist of money it doesn't stay inside the phone, it keeps falling out. it is defected. atleast it didn't cost alot.
