User reviews Satisfied Customer, 2008-10-07 This cable works great on the Rumor. It was alot cheeper than buying it from Sprint. WARNING!!! DO NOT USE IF YOU WANT YOUR PHONE TO KEEP WORKING!!!, 2008-09-28 Hello, wish I had read these reviews before buying this product. You know how sometimes you read disclaimers saying, we're not responsible for accessories used with our products not authorized by our company? That's what you need to consider when using this "chinese made" product for your LG Rumor phone. The part that plugs in to the phone jack is very unstable, does not plug in properly, and ruined my "charging capability" on my phone, thus causing it to be inoperable. Very frustrating, and now I have to spend $100 to trade in for a new phone. I didn't even want to get this but my wife insisted saying I could transfer tunes to my phone. Big whoop, that's what I have a PSP for. Ohh well, I learned my lesson, thank God I don't have to spend $250 on a new I Phone or something.
Buyer beware! Don't buy and use this product. You'll be sorry!!! WRONG usb data cable for LG LX260 (rumor), 2008-09-10 The cable I received does NOT work with my phone!
I would like to exchange them....
My phone is: - As seen from the display
Version - LX260V06
H/W Version - Rev1.2
PRL Version - PRL 50510
ESN/MEIZD - 0xA000000C6DD0FA
Phone Name - RUMOR - TM
The cable end that goes into my phone is WIDE.
I need to replace them and return the product, please e-mail me the return address.
Thanks
LG Rumor cable, 2008-09-10 The cable does enable you to connect the phone to your computer. However, the connection on the phone side seems EXTREMELY fragile. Not sure if it is the LG Rumor side or the cable but man it scares me to plug this thing up. No software included - bummer. Looking to sync contacts but no luck yet.
