User reviews USB Data cable for LG Shine, 2008-10-06 I don't need to say it, but this is a very low price for the data cable. The cable was shipped quickly and arrived earlier than expected. The USB data cable works great with my LG Shine. I can transfer files and allow my phone to charge at the same time. If you want to transfer data safely to the LG Shine using the data cable, you need to get a MicroSD card. First, format the MicroSD card by putting the MicroSD card in the phone and going to Menu--> Settings-->(#) Reset Settings--> (2) Master Clear--> (2) Memory Card--> (1) Yes. Then go to Menu--> Settings--> (7) Connection --> (2) USB Connection Mode --> select (2) Mass Storage and just plug your USB cable in your computer and phone. It is possible, from what I have read, to use a program and use the phone under "Data Service" to edit the phone settings and add custom message tones and ringtones, however I have not messed with it. GOOD, 2008-10-06 Good cable , fits great. Have a LG SHINE and it is osekess without te software !! None available as of yet !!! 8-6-08 Awesome, Thanks, 2008-09-30 Product works great with my phone. Can download the music and charge my phone with the product. Data cable for LG Shine , 2008-09-24 You can connect the cable to the phone with no driver to recognize the data. Perfect, 2008-09-23 Works exactly as it should at a fraction of what my carrier would have my pay. I began transferring my music within 5 minutes of opening the package. The only thing you may need to do is change the USB Connection Mode from the settings menu.
You can't go wrong at this price.
