I have been looking for this adapter for a long time, first I found a mono sound adapter from a large surface store, but it didn't sound well. I read that the original adapter was necessary for the Motorola K1M KRZR. This adapter (from Motorola) works perfectly well, the sound is loud enough and stereo: it's perfect for feedind the AUX input of my car radio.

It took me a couple of purchase attempts from other sites before I found the correct item, but this adapter works great to allow you to listen to your MP3's on your phone via headphones or in the car. The first time I purchased one (from another website) it didn't work - discovered it was for use with a headphone/mic device for no-hands phone calls. I kind of wish it didn't have the big middle box thingy, but I'm sure it's there for some reason and it's really not that obtrusive. Shipping was prompt, quality is great. I would recommend this product.
