User reviews A case that actually works, 2008-09-23 Something that I've learned the hard way over several months is that there are far too many phone cases such as these (referring to the horizontal type with the magnetic flap) which are very poorly made. For example, I've had one similar case from fonegear which started tearing almost immediately after I started using it. I've had two which had magnetic closures where the magnets were hidden beneath a layer of material...and with these the magnets actually became unglued and pulled the flap material apart. These were destroyed within two months. Finally, I decided to buy a case which had more of a snap closure (still magnetic, but you can see what I mean from the picture). The phone case has a much more solid feel than my previous three cases, and my Samsung D807 fits in it nicely...snugly, but nicely. The appearance of the case is clean and professional, with no brand markings on the front. A huge perk that I found very appealing is the inclusion of an alternative clip which can very quickly take the place of the other. Thus far, after having worn the case for about a week, everything is comfortable and still feeling solid. Of course, a week will not always reveal the weaknesses of this (or any) product, but I already feel like this particular case is of superior quality compared to those I've owned in the past.
