User reviews awsome deal 8g memory card, 2008-09-29 this is an awsome addition for my blackberry pearl a lot cheaper than buying an 8g i-pod product is great still loading songs on to my phone thanks for a great deal steve Excellent product, but beware of overpriced dealers!, 2008-07-18 This is an excellent product. Micro means very tiny. It was a little tricky installing it. But once I got it in the right spot, closed the little holder thingy, and put the battery back in the case, the card is working well for my Blackberry Curve 8330. It's nice to not worry about memory space for a while.. Be sure to verify that your device supports MicroSDHC.
Also, BEWARE OF HIGH PRICE DEALERS! At the time of this review. One associate dealer here has a price if over 80 dollars!!! That is a Rip off price! And watch out for gouging in the shipping charges too.
Don't fall for it! Just look around, and you can find the exact same product priced around 34 dollars from other dealers..
SanDisk 8GB microSDHC Card (SDSDQ-8192, Bulk Package)
SanDisk 8GB MicroSDHC Memory Card with MobileMate Reader (Retail Package)Sandisk 8GB MicroSDHC Memory Card w/ MobileMate Reader (SDSDQR-8192-E11M, Retail Package) So much, so small, 2008-03-23 Love the fact that memory is expanding and shrinking at the same time. 8GB the size of a fingernail. Great product Delivers as promised, 2008-01-25 Have been using this 8GB of Sandisk MicroSDHC for almost a month now, bought it in HK.
As usual I always have a good experience with SanDisk microsd, starting from 2GB, 4GB, 6GB and now the 8GB. Using it for my Nokia e90 and e51.
With regards to the capacity itself, SanDisk always measure 1KB = 1,000 bytes instead of 1,024, but that doesn't really count for me.
Look forward to seeing 12GB coming to the market. HighCapacity, 2008-01-23 The other reviewer refers to his inability to format to a full 8Gb capacity, and this is because he is using it in non-HC devices. In order to get more than 4Gb on an SD card, your DEVICE has to be SDHC compliant, or it will not be able to use all that extra room. There is nothing wrong with the card itself, it is working exactly as it should. That said, it's an 8Gb card the size of your thumbnail and writes at about 4MB/s. Definitely a solid buy if you can utilize HighCapacity SD cards.
