Announced Carrier: N/A but rumors have it going to T-Mobile
Rumored Release Date: Q1 2010

The HTC HD2 offers the first capacitive touch display on a Windows phone with pinch to zoom. Other features include a 4.3" touchscreen, HTC Sense, and Win Mo 6.5. More details about the HD2 will be updated when made available.

Are you serious? Your just not looking hard enough T-mobiles got plenty of good phones for a fairly good price. For example, they just came out w/ Samsung behold 2 and thats freakin amazing. Now Verizon on the other hand have Blackberry Storm which is complete crap and Droid Eris and the motodroid. If you want to get a droid, you need to pay 30$ a month for internet I don't know why verizon does this but its required.

I wish its for AT&T and that its for a low 2 yr contract i hate paying outrageous prices for phones. IT DRIVES ME CRAZY!!!!!!!

Wireless foldable/flexible keyboards seem like they'd make these types of phones much more useful. Keyboard's not needed 20% of the time, but when it is not having one is painful. I just don't see why makers aren't pushing/developing this as a solution to make these phones stand out even more. Seriously, if PDAs could use them, then why can't these super-powered smartphones.

this fone is coming to all 4 carriers.... verizon already has the imagio (doesnt this fone look like that....so i assume that this is gonna be a touch diamond sorta situation where it comes out on all four

Your assumption can't be anywhere near right, because the CEO of HTC hasn't solidified which carrier they'll be using for the HD2 as yet.

I've been researching this for about 2 weeks now and there is no leak as to where it will be place. But wherever it is, I'll be sure to get it!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this phone!!

I'm all about sprint, and I do like the whole android thing. I just think that these companies making these android phones should focus on improving the system more and then come out with a good phone to take out the iphone. I know iphone is being released to Verizon in 2011 i believe. I like the iphone only for its apps, I hope srpint can get it, and by then I'm sure it would be at it's 4th or 5th gen when 2011 comes around.

Phones need keyboards....and it would be cooler if it were Android. I don't know who would be in the market for Windows mobile nowadays when you can get same features with Android.

I do agree with you, keyboards are better then touch qwerty. But I do enjoy the whole touch screen thing, just add a sliding qwerty key to them like the droid, but the droid seems crappy to me.

What's wrong with Window's Mobile? This phone got's a higher resolution then the iphone and the nice animated weather wallpaper's with multitouch, and a 4.3 inch touch screen compare that to 3.5. Windows mobile market place is growing so you should look more into this phone, who knows you might change your mind.
