Saturday, August 23, 2008The stupidest thing about this LG C3 phone is that you CAN NOT access and dial your contacts from the front display using the wheel while you are wearing BlueTooth headset. How dumb is that?

Wednesday, July 09, 2008Interesting phone! The keypad looks a little ho-hum compared the usual pizazz that was the old Chocolates, I'm interested to see what LG did to make them think this phone was a worthy successor!

Hands-On: Unboxing Verizons LG Chocolate 3

Hands-On: Unboxing Verizon's LG Chocolate 3

Nothing says Summer like Chocolate, right?  I don't know about that, actually, but I'd take a Chocolate ice cream cone right about now (there's a mini heat wave here in the East Bay) ... At any rate, the UPS man showed up this morning with LG's new Chocolate 3 for Verizon and we've got pics here and a video on the way. The new Chocolate eschews the slider thing in favor of a flip form factor, and features a click wheel and nice big...

G2: HTC Touch HD not US-bound, but similar Android phone is

More on next HTC Android phone

First off, how cool is it that HTC dropped some significant cell phone news on the blogosphere via Twitter the other day?  I'm not saying Twitter itself is/isn't cool, but rather that it's neat to see a tech company innovate when it comes to communicating with the media.  Particularly so a tech company that uses the word "Innovation" in their marketing materials. Second, my post about the possibility of the HTC Touch HD coming to...

Hands-Free: Driving with both earbuds in is NOT okay

    Driving with both earbuds

For the past few weeks I've been considering writing a post about how California's law against driving while holding a cell phone has done pretty much nothing to curb the habit - at least in the Oakland/Berkeley area where I live and work.  Yesterday on my bike ride home from the office I figured out why I hadn't penned the post yet.  The law has done something, I think.  Sure, I still see at least three drivers with cellies in...
