Thursday, July 24, 2008Bad texting is a myth.. I am a really fast texter i leanred qwerty on the envy then i went to the voyager and now im on the lg Dare and it is a sick texting phone in qwerty. When you get the phone you have to calibrate your fingers so it knows how big your fingers are so when u push the letters it takes the center pressure point. I am just as fast on the dare if not faster because the letters are closer. I highly recommend this phone the features are worth the $200 in fact after having this phone for a week I would ahve gladly paid $300 for it probably more.

Wednesday, July 16, 2008i had the voyger for a few days and returned it for the dare. texting is definitely WAYYY easier on the voyager, but the other features on the dare make up for that problem. the touch qwerty keyboard is kinda small and, if you like to type quickly, you will type all kinda strange shlt

Tuesday, July 15, 2008Get the LG Dare instead of the Voyager. The Dare has a smooth screen while the Voyager has a kind of a funny feeling.

Thursday, July 10, 2008I am thrilled that VZW has FINALLY gotten a phone that will challenge iPhone! The DARE allows you to do html browsing....I think I will wait until closer towards the end of the year (when my vzw contract ends to get it w/ my 'new every 2")

LG Dare Review
LG's Dare for Verizon might well be the best camera phone currently available through a US carrier. And oh yeah, it's got a full touchscreen and 3.5mm headphone jack. Dare is hot.

Noah Answers Your Questions - Comparing the LG Dare & Samsung Instinct

Noah Answers Your Questions - Comparing the LG Dare & Samsung Instinct
Q. Hi, I saw your comparisons of the LG Dare and Samsung Instinct and I had some more questions about the two. I have some specific questions for the two phones that I'd like some answers to 1. Which touchscreen is better? Which is more responsive? When you're typing which screen works better?  I've heard ppl vouch for both sides so I'd like a good extensive opinion from an actual reviewer. 2. Which browser is better? Because I've...

Noah Answers Your Questions - LG Dare or iPhone?

Noah Answers Your Questions - LG Dare or iPhone?
Q. Noah, I am a first time visitor to your sight, and I love it. I've been anxiously awaiting the launch of the new iPhone.  I ended up ordering one from an AT&T store the weekend of the launch while also researching the LG Dare. I am currently a Verizon customer and now need to decide before picking up the iPhone if I should go with the LG Dare. It seems like GPS and phone are better, and with my credits I can get a Dare for $149. The...

Summer Round-Up: LG Dare - Verizon Wireless

Summer Round-Up: LG Dare - Verizon Wireless
Previous Posts in this series: LG Voyager - VZW LG DareDare is the newest addition to Verizon's VCAST lineup and it's my personal favorite.  A full touchscreen phone with a great camera and VCAST support, Dare is fun to use and highly customizable.  With perhaps the second most responsive touchscreen on the market right now, Dare works well for everything from texting to music and videos to basic Web browsing.  Throw in a...

Good Times: Is the American Cell Phone Market Finally Maturing?

Good Times: Is the American Cell Phone Market Finally Maturing?
Cell phone junkies - or anyone who's spent any time in Europe, Korea, or Japan - will tell you that the U.S. cell phone market lags almost hopelessly behind its global counterparts.  The American market is tightly controlled by the network operators, and half of US phones run on a proprietary standard incompatible with most of the world's networks (CDMA, used by Verizon and Sprint), a combination that's long resulted in a lack of options...

Whats the Best Phone: Dare vs Voyager vs iPhone
yfz450lrd from YouTube asks: Would you say the dare is better than the iphone and the voyager? Thanks for your time, your reviews are awesome!Noah answers: Thanks for the email and the kind words - glad you like the reviews.I'm going to do a review comparing Dare to iPhone and Voyager.  It's hard to say which is "better" - it comes down to personal preferences and network coverage.  Dare and Voyager run on Verizon which in many...

Dare

First of all, STOP SAYING GET THE GLYDE! because the touch screen on that phone is so finiky and unresponsive!  But i would get the Dare because it is on the amazing Verizon Network, and i like the all around look better than the Instinct.  but then again it is a personal chioce. If you need a phone more for work (e-mail, calendar, etc.) then get the instinct, but if not, get the Dare.Hope this helps...

Re: LG Dare or Samsung Instinct

dont get either!               GET THE GLYDE!!!!!!

Absolutely Love LG Dare BUT...

Lg Dare is the best phone I've ever used, in spite of it's quirky touchscreen and just ok browser...Learning to control the touch screen is still fun and the browser is adequate enough to not get in the way of my absolutely loving this phone, the way it looks, feels and performs.  BUT...LG is noted by many Verizon customers as not always being able to send out voice signals adequately in many areas, resulting in no one being able to hear...

Re: The LG Dare, awsome phone. Watch out for scratches!

I have had it for a week and it is the best phone I have ever had.  I am still getting used to the keyboard but I love it so far.  The battery life is awesome.  I love the camera and I have really used that a ton.  I also have a lot of my music on it and It compares to my iPod that I sold.  I dont miss it at all.   This is an awesome phone and I would for sure buy it all over again.  Its worth the money...

Re: The LG Dare, awsome phone. Watch out for scratches!

Well, I couldn't wait anymore....  I went and purchased an LG Dare. Understanding that this is my first day with this phone..... I absolutley love it!![:D]

Re: The LG Dare, awsome phone. Watch out for scratches!

I'm in the process of upgrading with Verizon, I initially upgraded to a Voyager, it's an awesome phone, however when attempting to scroll through my contacts on the front touch pad .... Let's just say, it wasn't happening. So I returned it and I'm wondering about the Dare. Got a question for you... Is there a lot of glare on the touch screen, when you use the phone outside? This will be my first none clamshell cell phone and I guess...

The LG Dare, awsome phone. Watch out for scratches!

I just recently got the LG Dare. This phone is amazing, the best one i have had for verizon so far! I spent alot of money on this phone so i wanted to keep it protected from scratches, dings, knicks, all stuff like that. I have heard about this stuff called Phantomskinz, who had got it on his iphone. I decided i wanted to try this stuff out on my Dare. So i orderd it online and installed it myself. It looks really good, clear, fits like a glove....

Re: LG Dare or Samsung Instinct

Personally, i would go for the LG Dare. Hands Down.  The camera isn't a big deal, but that is just another thing that makes it better.  The screen might be a bit smaller, but the is really crisp and clear on the Dare. I don't like the Instinct as much because it has a kind of metalic look to it. If i weren't in Canada, i would buy the Dare!!!

LG Dare or Samsung Instinct

I like both of these phones from the reviews on this site.  Is either a clear cut better phone then the other? The only advantage I have seen is the better camera on the Dare, but the camera is not that important to me.  I have to pick one of the two......which would you pick and why?  [H]
