Pros: WiFi, Bluetooth, USB Sync, and the fact its a mini pc.Cons: Data Plan is REQUIRED when using phone. And, buttons are touchy. You'll need to lock the phone when putting it into the phone carryng case.Summary: I just purchased this phone from US Cellular, and they said that the Windows Mobile E-mail & Web Service is REQUIRED, and you can NOT remove the data plan, unless you switch phones. The data plan is an additional $24.95 a month, and I keep telling them, I do NOT want this data plan, because the phone has built-in Wifi, Bluetooth, and USB connection (Active Sync). If I want my e-mail/Web, I'll use these other connections, which are FREE. So, Why is the Data Plan REQUIRED ??? I love this phone, and I used to have an HP iPaq, and I never had any data plan with it, and I got to the web/e-mail etc..

Pros: My Alltel service is great with this phone This phone is very easy to use. If you are a microsoft user you will love this phone. I can e-mail, text, picture text, take great photos, listen to music, add a storage card for games, pics and music. I LOVE the touch screen. When I first got the phone I felt paralyzed because I did not realize I just had to touch what I needed. It is so easy to use. The screen is big and easy to read. Voice dial is awesome. I can use the phone with one hand whenCons: I have not found anything about this phone that would be a deal breaker. Battery life is not good but You can purchase an extended life battery which I highly recommend. If you open up a contact and dial from the contact, when you are done with the call, the contact is not closed and you can acccidently bump a button and call the person back or get into an e-mail for them. Not a deal breaker just train yourself to close the contact when finished with the call.Summary: I would highly recommend this phone to anybody who uses e-mail alot. I went from a Razer to this phone so I had to get used to something bigger again. I wish it were smaller but I can't have everything right!

Pros: This phone can do everything that my computer and old cell phone combined.Cons: Hard to dial with one hand (new numbers) Sometimes I cant receive all my pic/ video texts.Summary: This phone caused a lot of trouble with my relationship. I know that sounds really strange, but hear me out. I use it for personal and business. I use the outlook and hotmail and I text more than most people. My sister texted me a messege asking me who Sara was. I didnt know what she was talking about. Then she read this message that came to her phone as a text from my number. It was a messege that I had used hotmail to email to a girl that I was talking to around the same time I got the phone. Then a couple weeks later I had another person getting random text of emails that I had sent other people. My phone was texting random people in my phones contact list. I didnt know why but I soon there after stopped using my phone for email. Then last week my girl that I have been with for some time got a text from my phone that was part a lovey dovey text that Isent her and the other have an email from 3 months ago to some one else. OUCH!! So to anyone that has had this problem, I feel your pain.

Pros: Great PDA, Fast Connectivity, Nice MP3 PlayerCons: Klunky phone feature Summary: I love this as a PDA and like it very much as a phone. Nice and heavy and easily upgraded to more memory. Very easy to use if you're familiar with Windows. Battery life lower if you keep your bluetooth on, so turn that baby off :-) Nice phone overall.

Pros: Speed, power, flexibility, expandability, removable battery, external or touch keyboard, windows mobile 6, on and onCons: takes time to learn, comes stylus reliantSummary: At first glance, you notice a touch screen phone. When you start using this device you think to yourself, "this looks cool, but really what can I do with it?" The answer is everything. Don't worry about the software and touch interface that comes standard with this device. The device, unfortunatley, comes very stylus needy. This is nothing 2 software downloads can't fix. If the ppc6800 you recieve doesn't arrive with windows mobile 6, I would upgrade imediately, due to it wiping out everything you have. Which is another great point, you can back up everything right on your pc so if you lose or damage the phone, your replacement data is ready to go. This device syncs automatically with ease--all you have to do is set it in the cradle. My fiance has an iPhone which is awesome to impress your friends. My phone actually does more at this point than the iphone ever could. The htc touch interface works on the ppc6800. It is really rare that I need to pull the stylus out of the holster with this device(but in a pinch I'm glad it has the option). With any touch device the onscreen keyboards are just not accurate or efficient. I have used palm, windows, and iPhone. With my big fingers onscreen typing isn't an option; I'm glad it has the slide-out keyboard(one of the main reasons I got it). Here is a list of things I have done with my device in the past 6 months: used outlook for email, took and printed pictures, loaded 8,500 songs, expanded memory the 8gb with micro sd, set over 3500 appointments on my pc and had them simultaneously synced, i have used this device as a router to guide two notebook pc's to the internet, made pie charts, viewed pdf's, created exel and word docs, watched streaming internet videos and television in full screen, have had the device convert half a million written words to readable text, charged this device through my computers usb port, nearly matched functionality and beat the iPhones's ability head-to-head.
The possibilities are endless with this device. My old palm treo 600 didn't hold a candle to this thing. It takes two to three weeks to learn this device, but it will save you some much time and effort in the long run. I would also like to commend alltel. Never had any service problems and signal is always great.

Pros: Its all good.Cons: it is a pocket pc first, phone second, not sure if thats really a con as you long as you know it upfront.Summary: I have had the MotoQ, and Palm, so I have a little experience elsewhere and this is the best PPC/PDA.
I initially was turned onto this phone because it connects to WIFI. The advantage is if you want to really utilize this Pocket PC or just "play around" you will be able to do so with a faster connection when your at home, office, or any WIFI hot spot. Also when using the WIFI to do the internet and mail you do not tie up your phone line the whole time.
The e mail is exactly like my PC's windows outlook. When I went to check my mail just open it up and select the send and recieve, or you can set it to check every so often automatically. Its the push technology.
It is very compfortable to use, just turn it and slide the keyboard out. Now it holds like a game controller and wide enough to use your thumbs and type away.
The Qwerty keyboard has large keys, and because it hides away you get a large touch screen
The camera has a 2.0 mega pixel, takes good pictures, as with all digitals you have to know their weakness, outdoors is better than indoor, the flash wants to white the person out, typical with lower mega pixel cameras, BUT for a "Phone" its beyond just great.
Lots of free programs to download and use with WM5 (windows mobile 5), and it is very easy to syncronize your data with outlook contacts, outlook calander, the web favs, etc............also when syncronized open up your phone files and move them around or copy your files and pictures between the phone and your PC.
The phone side of PPC/PDA's is alittle less friendly, and I use thousands of minutes a month, its just not as quick as opening my old razr and dialing, so it takes a bit to get used to but very easy to use just click the green button, the screen gives you the dial pad, dialon the touch screen hit talk and your connected. I guess whats not as easy is being able to feel the keys since you dial on a flat touch screen.
Works easily with Bluetooth. The connection manager to control the internet, wifi, bluetooth etc.... is very easy. You can also easily beam information with bluetooth or the IR port. So you can go to the Kiosk to print pictures and beam them over- its great.
You can also easily use as a modem for your PC called tethering, using USB or bluetooth.
Of course on the "menu" you can find every program you need, but the buttons that HTC has selected on the phone are perfect when you do not want to fiddle with a menu, if you need the camera hit the button on the side!
Being in property management and being able to coordinate my spreadsheats, notices, and my calander make it a breeze to stay on the go.

Pros: large screen, lots of memory, very flexible especially with add-ons such as wifi & gpsCons: short battery life, short battery life; oh, and did I mention short battery life?Summary: Overall, I'm extremely pleased with my purchase. I've been able to add on software & hardware to make this ppc even more powerful and useful. I can sync up at work and at home, so I never forget those important meetings and to do items. I have everything at my finger tips. My husband teases me that I find my ppc more useful than him!!

Pros: It's a PDA & phone. 'nuff saidCons: Battery life is poor. Sound volume on speaker phone/ringer is very low. Summary: Battery life is semi-fixable with after market batteries, although with bluetooth and EVDO cell service, battery will still need to be charged daily. You can get around this somewhat by letting the phone turn off after so long idle, but response time between first ring and bluetooth headset doesn't initialize until 3-4 ring, so may miss calls.
Ringer volume is really low, but is fixable with downloaded rings. Speaker phone volume is also very low compared to other phones. There is no fix for this.

Pros: fast processor, speed ,HUGE screen ,lots of standard features and softwareCons: speaker and ringer needs to be louder as usual with ppc'sSummary: I bought 2 units to use in real estate and they are fantastic for this use. I'm a techie kind of person so I am able to sync apps and such to make it not only productive but fun. A real joy to use!!!

This is an interesting turn of events, if it proves to be true. With all of the speculation about if and when Samsung would bring their Windows Mobile powerhouse, the Omnia, to AT&T, nobody stopped to think about a CDMA version of the device. Nobody, it seems, except Samsung and Verizon Wireless.
According to this rebate form posted on HowardForums and later found on Engadget Mobile, Big Red is prepping a VZW-branded Omnia to...
I'm "at" the Motorola Virtual Press Conference where they're launching the Krave ZN4 for Verizon. No surprise here, as this device was leaked far and wide. But it still sounds pretty interesting - it's a flip phone with a touchscreen and an "interactive flip." Apparently the clear plastic flip cover has touch controls so you can access frequently used functions without opening the device up.
Krave looks like it's going to...

The first ever flip BlackBerry is a winner, so long as you play to its strengths. While the 8220 is very large for a modern day flip phone, it's lightweight and slick looking enough to trick you into thinking it's a little smaller than it really is. I've had the 8220 for just under a week now, and I very quickly grew used to carrying it around in my pocket. No, it's not as thin as a RAZR or as small as a low-end sliderphone,...
