Great pocket pc for the price

Overall Rating:
4 out of 5
By: Rosanne Belanger on Friday, January 19, 2007
From: Ottawa, Ontario (Canada)
Experience: 45 Days
Pros: large screen, lots of memory, very flexible especially with add-ons such as wifi & gps

Cons: short battery life, short battery life; oh, and did I mention short battery life?

Summary: Overall, I'm extremely pleased with my purchase. I've been able to add on software & hardware to make this ppc even more powerful and useful. I can sync up at work and at home, so I never forget those important meetings and to do items. I have everything at my finger tips. My husband teases me that I find my ppc more useful than him!!

XV6600

Overall Rating:
2.5 out of 5
By: Greg Thomas on Thursday, August 24, 2006
From: Riverton, UT (United States)
Experience: 2 Years
Pros: It's a PDA & phone. 'nuff said

Cons: Battery life is poor. Sound volume on speaker phone/ringer is very low.

Summary: Battery life is semi-fixable with after market batteries, although with bluetooth and EVDO cell service, battery will still need to be charged daily. You can get around this somewhat by letting the phone turn off after so long idle, but response time between first ring and bluetooth headset doesn't initialize until 3-4 ring, so may miss calls.

Ringer volume is really low, but is fixable with downloaded rings. Speaker phone volume is also very low compared to other phones. There is no fix for this.

By: Dan Gillis on Saturday, June 03, 2006
From: Suffolk, VA (United States)
Experience: 4 Weeks
Pros: fast processor, speed ,HUGE screen ,lots of standard features and software

Cons: speaker and ringer needs to be louder as usual with ppc's

Summary: I bought 2 units to use in real estate and they are fantastic for this use. I'm a techie kind of person so I am able to sync apps and such to make it not only productive but fun. A real joy to use!!!
