As an avid fan of BlackBerry handsets all around, I was really excited to find out about the new service Cortado Connect for Box.net. The free service lets RIM users transfer files from their BlackBerry devices to store online at Box.net up to 1GB. The service even let’s you share your files with others.

Box.net gives all mobile users with a supported web browser access anywhere to their documents, photos and files through m.box.net. Users can pull up documents on their Box.net account allowing them to share files, view documents and browse photos from their mobile device.

Bootleg: BlackBerry Storm caught on video, sneaking into the movies style

Watching this video from Italian site ilTrillo.com is seriously a lot like watching a bootleg copy of a first-run movie that hasn't come to your local theater yet. In this case it goes like this: Yeah, you get to see more on the BlackBerry Storm but you have to suffer through a shaky handycam vid shot from the back of the auditorium and also deal with clipping audio and lots of people's heads between you and the content you really want to...

DogFight: BlackBerry Storm v. T-Mobile G1 v. Nokia 5800

Okay, this is more like a "Paper DogFight" than a real dogfight since, you know, none of these phones are actually available yet.  So what?  Let's look at 'em on paper and see how they stack up so you can get a jump on arguing with your FaceBook Friends over which of these new phones is the best.Note that I'll include the US carrier for each phone in the competitor run-down.  I'm well aware that the Storm is also available in...

Par-Tay!: AT&T announces BlackBerry Bold parties

Launch party means launch, right?  I mean it kind of has to, right?  Hope so, for AT&T has opened up online registration for six parties to celebrate the new BlackBerry Bold.  These actually aren't launch parties by name, so maybe I'm jumping the gun here, but the party invite does promise the chance to mingle, eat, relax and enjoy as you discover What Makes You Bold. Interested?  If you live in one of...

Top 5: The Top 5 Phones I've Actually Used

Two Top 5 lists today.  This first one is the Top 5 handsets I've actually gotten my paws on in some final or close to final form.  The second will be the Top 5 I haven't used, or have only groped semi-functional demos of.  Clear enough, right?  Good, let's get started: 1. Apple iPhone (AT&T)  Problems abound with the new iPhone 3G, from lag during text entry to horrific voice and data service on AT&T in...
Google apps for your BlackBerry Curve, Pearl, 8800, or 8700

Tips & tricks: Google apps for your BlackBerry Curve, Pearl, 8800, or 8700

When you pick up a new BlackBerry Curve, Pearl, 8800, or an 8700, you have the option to pay monthly (9.99) for GPS navigation service, but the thing that most people don't know is that if you navigate to Google.com via your mobile browser, then click on (More>>) at the top of the screen it takes you to a page filled with free BlackBerry enabled Google apps just like on the iPhone! You have the option to download them all at once or pick...

Re: Flip, Candybar, or Slider? What Phone Style Fits My Style?

I have always used a flip phone and love them.  I would really like to try a BlackBerry or touchscreen though.  Any feedback?  The reason I like the flip devices so much is because I can throw it in my purse and not worry about it calling anyone by accident.  I know you can lock bar style devices and touchscreens, but does locking the device hamper any of the features such as caller ID?  Thanks!

Re: Instinct vs Blackberry Curve,

Im guessing that your really not into the whole buisness aspect of the blackberry, but im just guessing. That is one of the main aspects of the Blackberry, it has always been know as a business phone, and that is how i will always look at them. If your just into texting and having fun go for the Instinct.

Instinct vs Blackberry Curve,

I am trying to decide which phone to purchase.  It's come down to the new Instinct or the Blackberry Curve 8330.  I like the touch screen but also like buttons.  Will I be able to download free games and apps for each device? . I want to be able to check email easily, surf a little(facebook, news etc), keep track of appointments and calendar, notes, How would playing word games work on a phone with no keyboard?  Any feedback...

Blackberry 9000!

I can't get over how fast the BB processer launches programs! It makes me want to throw my Tilt threw the window! Anybody know for sure when it will be available? Some people are guessing late 08, but if they wait that long its going to be to little to late. Hurry up BB!

Re: Blackberry Pearl 8100 Expert Review with images

Um nice try.... So how long have you worked for Wireless Galaxy?? You can get the Pearl 8100 for $100 less through Phonedog.com!! Why go to a site that is more expensive and doesn't give the consumer a choice of online merchants??

Re: Blackberry Pearl 8100 Expert Review with images

Hi, Yes this cell is really cool.I found it really cheap from wireless galaxy with free home delivery and no sales tax.I ordered both  Blackberry 8100 Pearl Blue as well as Blackberry 8100 Pearl White. My experience was great with www.wirelessgalaxy.com .:-D

T-Mobile now offers new Blackberry colors

Three new colors Pearl colors - blue, sunset (red) and pale gold. Does anyone really care? The 8100 has definately jumped the shark!

Your a little late [:(] That phone is already obsolete.

New Blackberry 8800 expert review!

devices were never at the top of anyone’s “Best Dressed Phones” list, and the BlackBerry OS looked positively archaic next to state-of-the-art phone platforms like Symbian and Sony Ericsson’s Walkman series.  RIM took a big step towards changing all of that with their latest batch of handsets.  Slimmer, sexier, and sporting an interface often likened to Apple’s legendary Mac OS, today’s BlackBerries are ... dare I say it? ... almost...

    LG Lotus (Sprint) - Photos

Hey, look what just came!  Thanks, Vanessa ;-)  Here are some photos of the black LG Lotus for Sprint.  The QWERTY board feels GREAT so far, as those bubbled chiclet-style keys make up for the relatively small size of the layout.  Sprint's new One Click UI is sort of cool and helpful and sort of overdone; I'll have to play with it more, but I hope it winds up being handier more often than it gets in the way.  And I'm...

WiMax: HTC drops super shiny WiMax phone on Russia

    HTC T8290

Might this be a peek into our near-term future?  I hope so.  You're looking at the HTC T8290, a shiny, sleek, badass looking piece of kit from HTC destined for Russia's Yota network. What's neat about this device, besides its obvious good looks, is that it packs both GSM and WiMax connectivity so you can get your voice and high-speed data on in style.  There's a 3.8", 800 x 480 hi-res display for all of that content you'll be...

G2: HTC Touch HD not US-bound, but similar Android phone is

More on next HTC Android phone

First off, how cool is it that HTC dropped some significant cell phone news on the blogosphere via Twitter the other day?  I'm not saying Twitter itself is/isn't cool, but rather that it's neat to see a tech company innovate when it comes to communicating with the media.  Particularly so a tech company that uses the word "Innovation" in their marketing materials. Second, my post about the possibility of the HTC Touch HD coming to...

Of course, if you do there's text galore to tide you over until those G1s start shipping on the 22nd. So what's kaziko...

    Driving with both earbuds

For the past few weeks I've been considering writing a post about how California's law against driving while holding a cell phone has done pretty much nothing to curb the habit - at least in the Oakland/Berkeley area where I live and work.  Yesterday on my bike ride home from the office I figured out why I hadn't penned the post yet.  The law has done something, I think.  Sure, I still see at least three drivers with cellies in...

I went to my local T-Mobile store to check it out, and saw that they were pushing it as the hot new product. The service is $10 a month for unlimited calls, to anywhere in...
