BONDI to provide new platform for mobile applications
The BONDI initiative is a new platform for secure mobile application development backed by industry giants including 3 Group, AT&T, T-Mobile, Telenor, Telefonica, Telecom Italia and Vodafone. The goal is to create a secure web service interface to be used by web developers across multiple device platforms.
Set up to help web developers create more function-rich, user friendly and relevant applications, the initiative is designed to drive the use of data services on mobile.
Our fancy algorithm says this stuff is related...It's the ruggedized Samsung a837 "Rugby" for AT&T. It's the Crane of Death in downtown Berkeley, CA. Push to talk technology meets a giant crane. But will Noah have the guts to scale the crane to drop the phone? Find out here! Out of the box! It's the newest AT&T 3G phone, the pearly white Samsung a637. Low-end means high-tech these days, and this candybar packs 3G, support for XM Radio Mobile & AT&T Music/Video, and a 1.3 MP camera with video capture. During the live demo at the T-Mobile / HTC / Google Android launch event, Doug got a chance to take a closer look at some of the T-Mobile G1's hardware. The device comes with a 1GB SD card, USB port, and removable battery.
Deeper hands-on demo at the T-Mobile G1 / HTC / Google Android phone launch event. Featuring "street view" demo, and in-depth Android Market (apps store) details. Doug gets a hands-on tour of the new T-Mobile G1 Google Android phone live at the launch event in NYC. Get a first look at the first Android phone from T-Mobile, Google, and HTC. T-Mobile, Google, and HTC just launched the G1 - the world's first Android-powered phone. Check it out, with launch and pricing info. More video coming soon! First off, how cool is it that HTC dropped some significant cell phone news on the blogosphere via Twitter the other day? I'm not saying Twitter itself is/isn't cool, but rather that it's neat to see a tech company innovate when it comes to communicating with the media. Particularly so a tech company that uses the word "Innovation" in their marketing materials.
Second, my post about the possibility of the HTC Touch HD coming to... An Android Community user - and T-Mobile Store Manager in Florida,
apparently - who goes by kaziko has posted the first user
review of T-Mobile's G1 Android phone. The review - which takes the
form of an ongoing forum thread - is summarized nicely in this post if
you don't care to dive into the 11+ page thread. Of course, if you do
there's text galore to tide you over until those G1s start
shipping on the 22nd.
So what's kaziko... When I first heard that T-mobile was offering a VoIP service, frankly, I wondered what could cause them to do such a thing, and what would motivate a customer to buy it. I've never paid much attention to VoIP because I've gotten so used to being mobile, 100% of the time. I went to my local T-Mobile store to check it out, and saw that they were pushing it as the hot new product.
The service is $10 a month for unlimited calls, to anywhere in... T-MoNews has a bunch of new Samsung T919 photos up, and some newly leaked info on T-Mobile's first all-touch phone. November 10th with a price of $149 on contract sound good to ya? Thought so. Just to refresh your memory, word on the streets is this will be a "dumbphone" running Sammy's TouchWiz UI, and feature a 5MP camera with flash, giant touchscreen, and "Web2go" (whatever that is) along with myFaves support. I... T-Mobile's G1 emulator
is online, and playing with it is just like messing around with the
not-yet-available HTC H1 Android phone. Except for the phone part. The
emulator is pretty cool, and honestly got me a little more jazzed to
try out a G1 in person. Don't get me wrong, I was jazzed already - but
the emulator made me forget about the phone's perceived hardware
shortcomings and instead focus on the Android user experience,... As I'm sure you know, the G1 will come bundled with the standard core applications that all smart phones include nowadays; an email client, contact manager, calendar, web browser, favorites organizer, calculator, etc. The Maps app has been demonstrated several times in Google promotional videos, as have been the picture browser, SMS client and music player. After downloading a sort of preview version of Android 1.0, I can confirm that all of... Well if your looking for something ideal for texting than either phone would be a good pick. Telling from the videos and reviews about the G1, I'm guessing the sidekick would have a better feel when texting. But if responsiveness isnt a big deal for you(not saying the G1 has a bad keyboard) than I would for sure go with the G1. It has everything a sidekick offers and more. For $30 bucks extra why not add 3G speeds, a touch screen, and a 3MP... yep, u need the plan. if u use text, pic or video mail... tmobile will charge u per message, they dont allow u to get unlimited messages/video/pic thats 14.99 for sidekick, u must purchase sidekick plan for 19.99. I'm planning on getting a sidekick 2008, I already have a family plan with texting included so im asking if i need to get the sidekick plan with text, internet etc. I already have a computer at home so its pretty pointless for me to get the sidekick plan. Do i need the sidekick plan to use the sidekick 2008? im getting rid of my w580i and getting a new phone. im looking for a phone with good texting and a good music player.i know that the g1 isnt out yet but it will soon. i have tmobile and if you can think of any other phones i might like please tell me I'm kinda excited for the Samsung T919 i wanted to but the nokia 5610 but i heard it give black screens. is it true? can it be fixed? So here is my question; I just recently purchased an iPhone in hopes of unlocking it. I found a lot of information explaining how to unlock the iPhone, however that is not my question. My question(s) is/are this:
1. When using a T-Mobile SIM card that card needs to be paid for right (in other words it needs to be active)?Yes the sim card must be associated with a currently active account
2. Can... So here is my question; I just recently purchased an iPhone in hopes of unlocking it. I found a lot of information explaining how to unlock the iPhone, however that is not my question. My question(s) is/are this:1. When using a T-Mobile SIM card that card needs to be paid for right (in other words it needs to be active)?2. Can another number be programed onto that SIM card?3. Can I simply use wireless instead of the T-Mobile service, or is... The only way brown will ever work on a cell phone is if has a metalic pearl finish.
It really has to be glossy or else it will just look like??? well.....a turd
IMO Since when is brown a good color for a cell phone?
It looks like a Hershey candy bar [*-)]
