Chocolate 2: Verizon set to unveil LG VX8550

Reports have surfaced that Verizon will be selling the LG VX8550 music phone staring July 9, at a price of $99 with a two-year service agreement. This reminds-me-of--Chocolate phone is said to be available in black, "blue mint," and "black cherry," and sport a slider form factor with front-mounted music controls. Verizon is also said to be readying a reduced-cost music essentials kit - memory card, Bluetooth headset, and a few other goodies - for the launch.

Saturday, July 14, 2007normally, I am not a got to get it now type person, but read ll the the hype thought Ok - they finally fixed the things I did not like about the Original Choco... Boy was I wrong on this one.. Yep they made downloading the music better, but in someone's "better" judgement, the ability to sync the contacts and calendar have been taken away.. you can send something from the phone but you cannot recieve.. not very pretty at all... so until the folks at Verizon and LG fix this.... choose another phone.
