Coming to T-Mobile: Nokia 5310 and 5610 XpressMusic on May 10thNokia introduced two new Xpress Music devices last Fall, and it looks like T-Mobile may be bringing them to the U.S. in just a few more weeks. According to TmoNews, the Xpress Music 5310 and 5610 will be ready for sale through T-Mobile USA starting May 10 (which is a Saturday).
The 5610 offers a 3.2 MP camera with 30fps video recording, music player with external controls and stereo Bluetooth, myFaves support, and an Email client in a slider phone body. I really dug this one when I checked it out back at CES (see photos here). Meanwhile, the 5310 brings similar black and red styling to a candybar phone featuring a 3.5mm AV jack and 2MP camera along with side-panel dedicated music keys. Both look way sexier than the functional but chunky XpressMusic 5300 I reviewed just over a year ago. Can't wait for these to drop, especially if the 5610 brings some auto focus and flash action to its camera. TmoNews actually goes on to suggest that Nokia may be T-Mob's new Samsung, saying that the carrier has been pushing Sammy phones hard for awhile now and is set to shift their focus to selling Nokia handsets instead. There may even be a few N-Series devices in your future if you're a T-Mob subscriber. Now wouldn't that be somethin'?
