Free Bluetooth headsets in L.A. from LG
With California going hands-free next month (on July 1st), San Diego-based LG is giving away 1,000 Bluetooth earpieces at the Peterson Automotive Museum (catch the relevance?) in Los Angeles (tomorrow) on June 19th beginning at 11 a.m. to ensure safe drivers will abound on the parking lot that is the 405.
And, yes, of course they will be partnering with the Ponch (Erik Estrada), an apparently tireless supporter of law enforcement, who will be giving the press briefing on the new laws in conjunction with LG Mobile Phones’ "Red, White & Bluetooth" event.
Our fancy algorithm says this stuff is related...Fierce! It's the unique new LG Lotus for Sprint - a square-shaped clamshell with a full QWERTY board inside. GPS, Sprint TV & Music, 2MP Camera, HTML Browser, Mobile IM and Email ... Noah checks out this fashion-forward feature phone. Remember last week when Demetra from LG said on the podcast that her company had all kinds of interesting phones in the works for later this year? Well, maybe the KP500 was one of them.
LG announced a new "attractively priced" full touchscreen handset, the KP500, which features a 3" wide touchscreen, 3MP camera, and choice of three color schemes. The KP500 will also pack an internal motion sensor that will be used for gaming... Noah goes hands-on with the newest AT&T Mobile TV phone, the LG Invision. Even though there was no MediaFlo TV coverage at the show in San Francisco, he still checked out this thin, sleek, candybar phone. Noah gets Fierce! with the new LG Lotus for Sprint and a one-of-a-kind accessory designed by Christian from Project Runway. Lotus has a unique square design and features a full QWERTY, access to Sprint Music and TV, and two fashion-forward color choices. Installment #1 of the PhoneDog Mailbag. Noah answers your questions on Samsung Glyde, Apple iPhone 3G, LG Voyager Titanium, and new T-Mobile phones. Noah gets all over the new Voyager Titanium for Verizon. It's like the old Voyager, but in Titanium (not black), and with Visual Voicemail and Rhapsody support. This could be lame or it could be a pretty handy bit of innovation for all you "I love my Bluetooth but I'm always losing it" types. Phone Arena has pics and details on the LG VX8610, a Verizon-branded slider phone with a removable Bluetooth earpiece that snaps in and out of a slot on the back of the handset. You know VZW is going to give it some weird name like "Listener" or "Trekker" (or "Vanilla"? you know, like Chocolate?),...
