A new HTC Smartphone with a vertical slider is coming soon. The phone will offer a VGA resolution display and but also be very small in size. Currently the only VGA phones from HTC are the HTC Universal and X7500 both of which are very BIG in size. It is nice to see that finally HTC is going to make smaller devices with high resolution displays.

  • Windows Mobile 6 Standard (Smartphone Edition)
  • VGA Resolution (640 x 480)
  • Micro SD slot
  • WiFi
  • Bluetooth
  • 3 Megapixel camera
  • QWERTY keyboard with more

What I dislike about the G1

What I dislike about the G1

I don't want to kill anyone's Black Friday shopping buzz, or discourage you from buying the G1 as a holiday gift. But I have dedicated a lot of posts to pointing out the benefits of this phone, and it's operating system, Android. I think it's time that I cover some negative aspects of the device. Most design problems become apparent over time, and may not be recognizable during an in-store test. They're not the kind of thing you want to be...

G2: More on the maybe (?) next Android phone from T-Mo and HTCG

You know the drill.  It's a RUMOR.  But it's from a reliable source and it's a follow up to something s/he sent me a month or so ago.  So I'm gonna post it and let you decide whether or not to believe it.  Take it with a whole can of Morton's Salt, as the saying goes. OH PLEASE HELP ME.. Samsung Omnia or HTC Touch Pro Ughh

Okay so i love love Lovve the samsung Omnia. The only thing I cant seem to get past is theres no qwerty keyboard and it's almost a must have. But seeming the Omnia is such a greeat phone I might just get it anyways. Then theres the Touch Pro that's even more expensive but seems the only feature it has on the Omnia is the slide out keyboard. Please help with any great suggestions you may have. Im in a bind here lol. THANKS!!

Re: HTC Touch HD or Sony Ericsson XPERIA-X1

I would say that, if the only reason you're thinking about the X1 is for the keyboard....but, you think you can get used to a software keyboard, the Touch HD is a beast !I find the soft keyboard on the Touch HD quiet usable...even in portrait mode...I'd go as far as to say that the soft keyboard on the Touch HD imo, is the the better than any other WinMo device I have come across. (emphasis on WinMo)

Re: Re: HTC Touch HD or Sony Ericsson XPERIA-X1

wow wow wow here. Lets think for a minute. Yeah its a good phone if your on ATT, but I don't think its worth $800. If you really need a good touch phone with a keyboard, get yourself a Fuze. Its going to save you a solid $500 in the process. Plus, the phone is a bit laggy and there aren't that many panels even available yet. I still say hold on before you do anything rash.

Re: HTC Touch HD or Sony Ericsson XPERIA-X1

first of all it depends on which network your on. if your on att then with x1a you can get 3 g which is a huge plus. but if ur on tmobile then there really is no difference here as edge is what youll get on both. Xperia is nice, very sturdy, very well built !  HTC HD has the amazing screen but not actual keyboard. Im actually thinking of getting the X1a myself.   I say go for it.

HTC HD or OMNIA

Which one is better HTC HD or OMNIA need your reply

G1 or HTC TOUCH PRO???

what is a better overall phone in specific???

Re: Please Help! I cant decide and must know this!

To activate the phone you must buy a data plan, which is for the internet. I think you can cancel the data plan after you have bought the phone, but you then wont be able to use internet unless using wifi. For the phone no you dont, only your plan

Re: Need Help!

I don't think so. 40 per month for 300 minutes plus myfaves. Then there is the data which is either 25 or 35.

Need Help!

I need to know, do you have to pay extra money every month to use the G1? I mean only for calling not including text and internet.

Please Help! I cant decide and must know this!

DO you have to pay just to use the t-mobile G1 monthly? Just for the phone? Please Help> Thanks

    $99 iPhone?

This isn't so outlandish of an idea, but I'll believe it when I see it.The hot Rumor du Jour has a 4GB Apple iPhone headed to uber-discount store Wal-Mart at the low, low cost of $99 with a two-year contract.  99 bones is less than you'll wind up forking over to AT&T for that first month's bill once you figure in the iPhone data plan and activation fee, never mind all of those mysterious taxes that show up cell phone bills.Boy Genius...

    Mini-Review: Nokia Email Beta

Thanks to the folks at Nokia, I've got a re-loan of the E71 smartphone, one of my favorite releases of 2008.  A Symbian S60 device, the E71 has an Email client as part of its pre-loaded Messaging application, and while it can't handle HTML mail and isn't the prettiest thing to look at, it basically works just fine. However, Nokia just announced the live Beta of their new Nokia Email service for select devices - including the E71.  So I...

    Your money or your privacy?

Two years later and ThinkGeeks bluetooth handset still uncontested

    Best bluetooth design ever?

I've searched far and wide over the last two years, but found no bluetooth device that can stand up to ThinkGeek's revolutionary design from '06. In the shadow of its sinewy curves and the glare of its glistening semi-reflective surface, all competitors appear painfully unimaginative and inadequate. Can this subtle beauty ever be matched... or dare I say, toppled? Undeniably, a classic. I'm also a fan of their BluAlert Bluetooth Bracelet. I...
