Noah reviews the iMate Ultimate 9502, a high end Windows Mobile smartphone with a laundry list of features. HSPA, GPS, WiFi, VGA Touchscreen, QWERTY ... the list goes on and on. Hands-on with three of the most powerful smartphones you'll find anywhere: The iMate Ultimates. The 8150 packs a VGA touchscreen and XGA video out, while the 8502 and 9502 bring QWERTY to the party. If you need a total powerhouse of a business phone, check these babies out. Noah takes a quick look at Imates' new "Ultimate 9502". At a quick glance the phone can be mistaken for a sidekick, but upon closer inspection it is easy to see how the Ultimate really lives up to its name. Key features include a full qwerty style keypad, VGA display, XVGA video out, Wifi, 3.0 megapixel camera,GPS and of course 3g data. The fact you can purchase this Windows Mobile phone unlocked makes all the more appealing. Noah from PhoneDog.com gets a hands-on look at some new phones and a Bluetooth car kit at CTIA '07 in San Francisco. Check out the I-Mate Ultimate smartphones and the Winplus Yada Phone Holder / Bluetooth Kit.
It's the maiden voyage of the PhoneDog Podcast! On episode one, Noah covers the first week of September in cell phone news: iPhone 3G woes, Google Android and Google Chrome, and T-Mobile's first official 3G phone. We also review iPhone 3G, Voyager Titanium, and the iMate Ultimates, and preview this week's CTIA Wireless show in San Francisco. Ultimate Ears makes in-ear monitoring systems for professional musicians and really excellent earphones for the rest of us, too. Their super.fi 5 pro earphones ($249) have been amongst my favorites since I got them almost two years ago now, and the less expensive super.fi 3's ($129) aren't anything to sneeze at, either. Unfortunately, neither set is compatible with iPhone's dumb recessed headphone jack unless you're willing to pare... Below are just some of the phones featured at this years CTIA convention in San Fransisco.
At the pre CTIA event, ShowStoppers, Noah speaks with Nicole from i-mate about their four new Windows Mobile 6 devices. He also spoke with the CEO of Winplus, about their Bluetooth handsfree product, Yada.
