PSP with Skype: PSP 3000 Sports Microphone and GPS

Phones are like mini-computers and computers are getting more phone-like capabilities every day.  Between smartphones that download new software and two-pound Netbooks that let you voice chat over Skype, it seems as though all of today's new gadgets are built with a healthy dose of communication in mind.

Add Sony's PSP portable gaming rig to that list of handheld communicators.  Leaked photos of the forthcoming PSP 3000 show what looks like an integrated microphone on the device's front panel, and another rumor claims that Sony's going to  add GPS to the mix for everything from location-aware gaming to a possible full-on Navigation solution.  While I'm sure that mic will have plenty of gaming uses (i.e. smack-talking during online showdowns), it stands to reason that Skype could run pretty well on a PSP for VoIP calling on the go.

So here's the question I pose to you:  How many of you gamers out there would rather have a high-end cell phone with "great for a phone" gaming capabilities, how many of you would rather carry a cellie and aPSP , and how many of you would ditch the cell altogether if Sony somehow stuck a SIM card slot or CDMA radio in the next-gen PSP to compliment that Wi-Fi connection?  I know, I know, there's no way that the PSP 3000 is getting a cellular radio ... but there is lots of talk about a PSP Phone in Sony's pipeline.
