September: Sprint May Be Launching Touch Diamond Next Month
Engadget's got this graphic that's supposedly a slide from an internal Sprint presentation/update, and it details a September launch of the HTC Touch Diamond. The good? Touch Diamond on Sprint, duh. The bad? $299.99 on contract, after $100 rebate. $399.99 and two years out the door? Yikes. I've been testing the Touch Diamond, and it's a solid device and all, but that's crazy expensive given today's US carrier landscape. In any event, you'll soon be able to get your TouchFLO 3D, Windows Mobile 6.1, 4GB of storage, 3.2 MP camera, Opera browser, EV-DO Rev. A and WiFi groove on, CDMA-style. Woo-hoo!

The HTC Touch Diamond smartphone runs Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional under a clever TouchFLO interface. French retailer Phone and Phone has the Touch Diamond in seven new
colors on its website, and while there's nothing about worldwide
availability of the newly colored faceplates, if this is legit it would
stand to... Apparently the home office has been getting a lot of impatient

when I did the unboxing vid a little while back. I really didn't mean
to keep you in the dark on this one, folks, so here's an update.

A. I'm amped up about the Touch HD, as well. So far there's no word - or even whispering - about a US carrier.
I know HTC is interested in bringing... So you never know with these things, but I got a tip about the

I know these phones is just alike but 1 got a keyboard. im trying to decide on which one to get and if i wanna spend an extra 50 dollars for a qwerty. Will it be worth it? I was on the Sprint website and i compared both phones and the only difference was the Touch Pro has a memory card slot? Is this true? And is it true that only way to text on the PRO is using the qwerty? Hey, not really into the phone scene but i have just come up for a new phone and i was looking at the HTC touch diamond and the Imate 9502. Are there any phones like this that anyone could suggest? Should i wait for the new Htc's coming out soon (also im in australia so they will take longer to come this way)? or any comments or preference on these two phones? Also my price range is pretty high so anything around the same price should be ok.... Good News for the Sony Ericsson lovers because the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 Smartphone gets launch date.
