Shiny Shiny: Verizon Wireless drops the Samsung GleamHot off the presses:
"The Verizon Wireless Gleam by Samsung, a shiny thin clamshell featuring a new living wallpaper user interface, is now available. The Gleam by Samsung is a glossy metallic bronze on the outside with a shiny silver keypad inside. In addition to the living wallpaper, the Gleam by Samsung features a 2.0 megapixel camera with NighShot, Mobile Web 2.0 and V-CAST capable and up to 4 GB of expandable memory. The Gleam by Samsung weighs just 3.35 ounces with standard battery." You can also call the Gleam the U700 ... and you can also call "living wallpaper interface," support for Flash themes. Looks like another take on the mid-range flip phone, if you ask me. The phone isn't on Verizon Wireless' website as I write this, but it may well be by the time you read this ... such is our fast, fast digital world.
