Pros: Pay as you go plans are good, PTT is greatCons: Phones are the plastic counterparts of Nextel's, customer service is a joke if you need it, it should just redirect to a Nextel TechSummary: I got couple of the boost 335s, I gave them to my brother and the other one to my parents... it worked well in a few places where BOTH Sprint's and Boost online maps says it doesnt, even the PTT was clear

Pros: Couldn't think of anyCons: The sound quality on the phone is lousy, can never get any bars, slow to receive and make calls, out of date models, pre-paid plans not as great as they are advertised.Summary: I received my boost phone for my birthday so i couldn't really pick the phone but my relative said it was the best looking one. so i activated it, and at first i was excited, i finally had a phone. but, the calls were slow and no one, friends or family, could never reach me. i called customer service but they were no help and told me i couldn't get a refund.

Pros: Great coverage cool phonesCons: noneSummary: I think that the people who are writing the horrible reviews are ridiculous it's like all people do these days is complain complain complain and can never be satisified with anything that they have, I mean of course every company has its problems but I bet when you get a different phone with a different company you will have similar problems or different ones. I have had my phone for two years now and it works fine for a PREPAID phone I don;t expect it to work miracles. Come on people quit being haters on a fine company

Pros: I'm still thinking of something positive to say.Cons: You are filled with empty promises, no refund, service not fully functional, they dont fullfill their servicesSummary: Our 10 year old son saved up his money to buy this phone, did pre-pay ( $1 day unlimited text, etc) and we have spent hours upon hours with customer service who knows nothing, talked to supervisors who give you empty promises, etc Cant send outgoing texts to anyone. Spent $20 on pre-pay card, and signed up for the $1 a day as said above. Called after activated when noticed we couldnt send texts, they said 24 hours. Waited til next day, said 2 days. Waited, said 4 days, waited said 6 days, now they say a few more days. They say they cant refund the $ we spent for service. They keep telling you to wait so you dont have anything for them to refund you later down the road. We feel scammed, and imagine how a 10 year old feels! He is very upset. We wanted him to learn responsibility , he's learning that big companies screw you out of your money. p.s. If you call customer service, it is only a calling center for Boost Mobile. Were told that tonight by Supervisor. Is no direct number to anyone for Boost Mobile.

Pros: Nice camera, good sound, pleasant ring.Cons: Unable to get # w/ my area code (unreal!) No tech support available. GPS not navigational like pic in booklet. Unable to reply to text msgs 24 hrs or more. Wireless web pd. for unable to access. Phone is confusing and user unfriendly.Summary: The i855 model looks nice enough with pleasant blue lights and the camera is decent but beware of the set-up and lack of tech support. Most of the other reviewers have pretty much covered the cons. Don't go with Boost, at least not in Central/Eastern Virginia Area 757. I was unable to even get a 757 area number. They told me to keep checking back, which I did. Can you believe they were "out of area 757 phone numbers"? So create some new ones already! Sending and picking up messages was a b**ch. I was unable to reply to any texts msgs for 2 days! I followed directions to download GPS navigation but it never worked and when I called (2 times) the Rep said there wasn't actually navigational GPS other than the usual locator GPS for use by law enforcement if people are looking for me! There was NO tech support. The rep said she was transferring me to tech but nobody ever answered. Moving through the menu is difficult because you have to scroll endlessly. I have used a half dozen phone brands and several mobile carrier companies and never had this much difficulty setting up my personal preferences or downloads. One important issue for me is that There is no mail icon key on my model. I used it a lot on my other phones and don't like having to surf the menu to get my messages. Plus hitting the back button in the menu pull-downs doesn't always work and frequently took me all the way back to the main menu. When I purchased Wireless Web they started charging me $.99/day immediately even though I still haven't gotten web access. I plan to go back to Virgin Mobile or Net 10. If this is your first phone, and you've never used anything better, you might think it's great -- but for veteran phone users activating with Boost is an exercise in frustration.

Pros: Reliability, clear and strong signal, good ratesCons: Limited to your calling area, small selection of phone choicesSummary: I have had my Boost phone for a year now. I have not been disappointed yet. The phone is durable, the calling is dependable, and the price is unbeatable. Plus no contracts. However, they need to add a few more phones to the selection when buying. Also, you can only call in your calling area, or you begin to roam. But you can text when you are traveling and there are no additional fees. The phone does not work in Alaska or Puerto Rico. (I travel a lot) lol

Pros: Pros??? NONECons: Everything about Boost Mobile is a con. That is exactly what they are CONS. Summary: The vendor of Boost Mobile said I can import my cell number once my contract was over with my original cell company. So i activated the boost cell phone with every intention of changing my number. Once my contract expired, they told me they could not change my number once the phone was activated. The "only" way they could do that was by cancelling the account and re-activating it, but of course now their monthly fee had increased from $50.00 to $70.00. We called to complain to the Boost vendor and they were nice enough to return my money for the full cost of the phone. As for Boost customer service, they were untrained, uninformed, rude and could care less if they kept a customer or not. They didn't return any of the money that was left on the account. They said the phone would remain active until all the money on the account was used even though I returned the phone. They have a nice scam going. Needless to say, I do NOT recommend Boost to anyone.

Pros: Good connection services, and clear when talkingCons: No Phone #s in Tallahassee, had to get a city outside of there to be able to use phone. As big as Tallahassee is, I could not believe it!Summary: Have had Boost mobile for 4 years.......Worked Great while I was in NC, but when I moved to Fla, #s are limited

Pros: Great scam for Boost and Sprint!Cons: Never received a call in my home calling area. Called customer service 3 times to get problem fixed. No success! Never offerred refund or credit. What a company! Great place to work, if you are a do nothing!Summary: My partner and purchased a Boost phone for our business in early February. It was activated and we started using it. We published the number on company cards and web site. We received a minimum number of calls. About 4 weeks into using the phone, one of our customers asked why our phone number was long distance. They were calling from within our home calling area. As a matter of fact it was in the same community. We investigated and found out that the phone would only accept calls from other cell phones. If you called our number from a land line within our home calling area it would force you to dial it as a long distance call. The techs( that's what they call themeselves)at Boost were unable to fix the problem. Thanks, for the reliable service Boost Mobile, a.k.a. Sprint. Your service has made a big negative impact on my business.

Pros: For $55/month it was perfect for my teenage daughter. Decent coverage. Unlimited talk/text for the plan I chose. No contract.Cons: As stated in most reviews for Boost, Extremely poor customer service. Summary: Their standard answer is "There's nothing we can do". Bought phone Dec22 for daughter. 1st Month is free. When free month was up, I did not make payment for Feb because I took phone from my daughter for 2 weeks. Mid Feb I called to reactivate and was told to wait until Feb22 because if I paid when I originally called, I would be charged for full month and then still owe again Feb22. I did exactly as I was told and made 2 payments on Feb22, They applied 1st payment to Jan which was free! Called them I realized this and guess what their answer was. Yep, There's nothing we can do. I threatened to go to Cricket and the CSR I was speaking with acted like she couldn't care less and was in hurry to get me off phone. They are willing to lose a customer over $55. As of right now, I would definitely not recommend Boost to anyone.

The Land Down Undah is having a banner year. Not only is Baz Luhrman's Australia getting rave reviews, but Ruslan Kogan, a young Aussie entrepreneur, has unveiled the world's second Android phone. Huh? Who is Kogan, and how in heck did he race ahead of the major cell phone manufacturers??The story, it seems, started when the twenty-something was looking for an LCD TV a couple of years ago, says The Sydney Morning Herald. Unfortunately, like most...
This isn't so outlandish of an idea, but I'll believe it when I see it.The hot Rumor du Jour has a 4GB Apple iPhone headed to uber-discount store Wal-Mart at the low, low cost of $99 with a two-year contract. 99 bones is less than you'll wind up forking over to AT&T for that first month's bill once you figure in the iPhone data plan and activation fee, never mind all of those mysterious taxes that show up cell phone bills.Boy Genius...
Thanks to the folks at Nokia, I've got a re-loan of the E71 smartphone, one of my favorite releases of 2008. A Symbian S60 device, the E71 has an Email client as part of its pre-loaded Messaging application, and while it can't handle HTML mail and isn't the prettiest thing to look at, it basically works just fine. However, Nokia just announced the live Beta of their new Nokia Email service for select devices - including the E71. So I...
Last Sunday's NYTimes featured an article about a group of MIT students who've traded their privacy for free smartphones. Researchers are tracking the every move of 100 or so students as part of a study on "collective intelligence," or what the article describes as:a vast sea of digital information being recorded by an ever thicker web of sensors, from phones to GPS units to the tags in office ID badges, that capture our movements and...
I've searched far and wide over the last two years, but found no bluetooth device that can stand up to ThinkGeek's revolutionary design from '06. In the shadow of its sinewy curves and the glare of its glistening semi-reflective surface, all competitors appear painfully unimaginative and inadequate. Can this subtle beauty ever be matched... or dare I say, toppled? Undeniably, a classic. I'm also a fan of their BluAlert Bluetooth Bracelet. I...

If you're like me, a wine enthusiast without a lot of expertise, selecting a bottle can be downright stressful. More than once, I've wandered around and around in a shop, under the gaze of a not-too-helpful sales person who keeps pushing expensive items. I usually wind up choosing based on a cool label or staring at a dinner table wine menu like a deer caught in headlights (that is, until I close my eyes and pick something at random). For mere...
