My mom in a Nursing home bought a Cricket Cell, which allows only 2 minutes of talking time per call.

Pros: unlimited time to talk BUTTTTT

Cons: IT Cuts off your phone conversation within 30 seconds to 2 minutes of talk time at the most.

Summary: My elderly mom bought a cricket cell phone, which allows her to talk 30 seconds to 2 minutes and then drops her call, or cuts her off the telephone, and she cannot talk, until she calls back for a quick 30 second call. We have talked 7-30 minute times in one-day. I want to buy her a care package of items she needs. We have yet to finish our conversation and am unable to send her a care package. This is simply awful service for a new cell phone to do this to an eldery person. There is no service person, whom you can call to help her with this, unless you call the store she purchased it from. John was very nice and would see what he could do to fix it. I would not buy this product. I use trac phone and they are a better reliable cell phone than the Cricket is.
