Pros: Cricket is great, you dont count your minutes or text messages and it is a low pice for you bill.

Cons: price to initially get your phone

Summary: I think Cricket is a great carrier. I have had problems with going over my bill in the past with other companies, but Cricket offers great plans to avoid this problem. I am glad that it is no hassle and I can always count on my bill being the same every month. I really love the service and plans and adding money to my flex bucket to get roaming or out of country calling or text messages. I just do not like one thing about them and that is the fact that the phones are so expensive to initially get started.

Pros: unlimited calls to anywhere long distance or local. they have local payment center's near you. Easy to use.

Cons: Can only use in your calling area. Dropped calls, only from what I heard. Sometimes doesn't have great connection. Phone's can be expensive to buy.

Summary: I actually really like my phone with Cricket. We are able to call our family in other state's. We can talk as long as we like. We have not had any problems with our phone. Sometimes the clarity isn't great. But my mother has more dropped calls than I and she is with another service. We would like to have a plan like this and be able to travel to other states. Like in a few weeks we will be traveling to Houston and we won't be able to bring our phone to use for emergencies. Otherwise it is a great phone!!!

Cricket is not worth it

Overall Rating:
1 out of 5

Pros: It's cheap and doesn't require using a plan. Great for teenagers who like to talk alot on the phone.

Cons: Text messaging is limited to who you can text message or receive a text message from. Receiving calls from outside of the continental 48 states doesn't exist so that is useless if you have friends in other countries. You can't ever find what you need from their website along with plans. With other companies you can use their website to send text messages to anyone in the world. With Cricket you can only use it for local service in your state from what I have experienced. Reception is horrib

Summary: All in all I don't feel that cricket is worth having. I have had to purchase another phone to text message outside of the country to others and to receive phone calls from other countries. I have family in Canada and they can never get through to me on my cricket phone. I would only recommend to anyone considering buying a cricket phone that if you can't afford to go for a plan and for people with kids who like to talk alot. Other than that I would never recommend anyone using them. The reception is the worst I have ever endured. I will be going with another plan within the next month.
