Pros: The cheapest plan I've seen. Also, pricing is straightforward, and your minutes roll over.

Cons: Horrible customer service. Limited selection of phones. Coverage in the rural areas is spotty.

Summary: This is a good deal for people like me, who aren't on the phone all the time, and who just want a regular phone without all the latest gizmos. You just better hope you don't have to call customer support.

And if you want things like Bluetooth, internet access, or Java apps, you should go elsewhere.
