Freedom at last!!!

Overall Rating:
1 out of 5
By: Deangelo Jenkins on Saturday, May 10, 2008
From: Crystal, MN (United States)
Experience: 10 Years
Pros: None, absolutely horrible company.

Cons: Terrible customer service, most of the customer service reps are from non-english speaking backgrounds and thus are hard to understand. No one seems to know the right answer and if you call 3 different CSR you will get 3 very different answers. My bills kept changing month after month what a joke. They had to credit my account every month for over charging.

Summary: Please heed the warning and stay far away from Sprint or I promise you, you will be sorry... thank heavens my contract ended today, I'm free, never, ever to return!!!!!

Pros: early night calling, free weekends

Cons: dropped calls, long customer service waiting

Summary: Not that bad of a company, I've been a customer for about two years. The main problem I had was my phone, but Sprint did not make it very well.

Pros: ?

Cons: customer service is terrible!!!!!!!!

Summary: We have had service with sprint for the last 7 years and they were fine to start with but in just the last couple of years the customer service has gotten terrible. The most recent problem we have had is when one of our phones buttons quit working. We don't live very close to the store that does repairs (not all of them do repairs) so we switched the number to an older phone we had which doesn't work very well( drops calls, won't hold a charge well etc )so we could continue to use the line. I took the broken one in when I had time and they told me that they wouldnt fix it b/c it didn't have and active number on it anymore. I explained we paid for insurence on that phone and we needed a working phone on that line b/c it was used for a business line. The phone couldn't be reactived with the number b/c the buttons didn't work so they pretty much told us we were out of luck and could just buy another phone and sign another contract. NEVER! why pay to insure a phone if they will find any excuse not to fix it. This is just one of the many recent problems we have had. Do yourself a favor and don't mess with sprint!!!! oh and They never have the cool new phones either it was like 3 years after the razr phone that everyone wanted came out that they finally got it and by then it sucked compared to everything else.

Sprint is great

Overall Rating:
5 out of 5
By: Brian Smith on Sunday, March 30, 2008
From: Hartford, CT (United States)
Experience: 8 Years
Pros: Phones, service, call quality, plans

Cons: None

Summary: I have never had a problem with Sprint, they have the best phones (Sanyo), great plans to choose from, and excellent reception wherever I go. I have had Sprint for over 8 years and have no plans on ever switching service.

People who complain about Sprint are the ones who constantly switch providers and dislike them all. My answer is to move out of the sticks and quit your complaining.

Bills get higher and higher

Overall Rating:
1.3 out of 5
By: C Damron on Wednesday, March 19, 2008
From: Flagler Beach, FL (United States)
Experience: 7 Years
Pros: none

Cons: everything

Summary: We updated our phones x4 and got the "new & better" ones that were suppose to get better reception. Since this we have had numerous calls dropped, no service, and lots of roaming charges added to our bill, this didn't happen with the old phone. When I called and complained about it they said I must contact service, when I questioned charges on roaming, they told me I had 10 seconds to cancel the call or be charged. "TEN SECONDS".

Sprint- not again- counting days to cancel

Overall Rating:
2 out of 5
By: L P on Sunday, March 16, 2008
From: Lakeville, MN (United States)
Experience: 3 Years
Pros: ?? Are there any??

Cons: Poor customer service

Summary: I called in to make a late payment and to let them know that I would have bill caught up by April 1st. I was told comments could not be placed in the systems and that I had to call back again- after 25 minutes on phone and several 'wrong' people to talk to concerning bill- to give them info AFTER my next bill was late in two weeks to avoid late fees and etc. What a waste of my time to have to call again to tell them same thing I was saying then! I was told that had I discussed this prior to payment I could have been helped within same conversation, but now my phone bill was current and could no longer be assisted!! Transferred to supervisor who claimed he had no boss above him and he was going to hang up on me and that is just the way it was going to be.

Consistent Service - Poor

Overall Rating:
1.3 out of 5
By: Gary Hedges on Sunday, March 16, 2008
From: Rogers, AR (United States)
Experience: 7 Years
Pros: Has been the lowest cost provider for some time now.

Cons: Web site consistently not working properly when I need it. Promises broken by sales people in stores. Letters to corporate not answered. "Live" support ranges from fair to poor.

Summary: From the first service order Sprint people got our service request wrong and then were 'unable' to fix problems. Initially we requested a 300 minute plan for two additiona lines but were set up with two 3000 minute plans. Supervisore couldn't even fix that problem. Cost of replacement phones inconsistent and prices given to us by local Sprint sales people were wrong. Corporate failed to respond to letter of complaint and store manager was useless. As soon as our current contract is up it's bye bye Sprint and that's after putting up with their stories and poor service for over 7 years

Sprint - Never Again!

Overall Rating:
1 out of 5
By: Desiree Carter on Monday, March 10, 2008
From: Milford, OH (United States)
Experience: 9 Years
Cons: I have been with sprint for over 8 years. I made the mistake last year of adding a couple of phone lines, bought a Palm Treo. Since that time my bills have been horrendous...with all types of promises to fix faulty bills..to no avai. I finally got them to fix a 900.00 bill they sent me...only to have them tell me this month that I have a past due amount...they are thieves! Someone is getting rich off the backs of those of us who work for a living. I will never, ever come back to Sprint!

I

Summary: Unfortunately I have to pay them $600.00 to get out of my contract. I'll pay it to get rid of them!

If you're going to buy from sprint...pay attention to the tiny lines in the contract. They are such a rip off company.
