Absolutely terrible

Overall Rating:
1 out of 5

Pros: The phone rings. That's about it.

Cons: Willingness to help their loyal customers.

Summary: The customer service is definitely as terrible as the rumor mill reports and is far worse than I expected. I have been a Sprint customer for almost 10 years and I am looking to remove a few phones from a contract. They want to charge me $200 for any phone that I remove prior to September 6th. My problem? The people who are on the contract live in different states. We will all be together on September 1st, but even if I make a change and we ALL stay with Sprint and sign new contracts on September 1st, they are still charging the fee b/c it's before September 6th. I am dying to move my service but struggling to pay them $600 to make changes. It's a complete scam. What happened to always working with the customer to maintain the business?

Sprint is the most affordable deal in wireless!

Pros: Great features, phones, and prices.

Cons: Not the best CS but not as bad as everyone says.

Summary: Sprint offers the most affordable rate plans and widest range of features of any carrier. They have great multimedia and the best 3G network. And in my area coverage is excellent.

I love sprint

Pros: The everything plan. 1 price for texting sprint tv and multiple other services. my phone works in most elevators and some subway stations. so the service is great. no problem with customer service. they are great problem solvers.

Cons: Sprint tv shows fuzzy on my phone. and when u change things on ur plan sprint does increase ur contract expiration date. so beware if u upgrade or change plans

Summary: I like sprint. nice phones good service. phones are expensive if u buy them from sprint but if u purchase a phone somewhere else u can use it. I brought my plam treo from ebay. almost half price. sprints not perfect but for those on the go texting and internet people like me it works

Sprint changes contracts

Overall Rating:
1 out of 5
By: J Vega on Saturday, August 02, 2008
From: Dallas, TX (United States)
Experience: 3 Years
Pros: Reasonable plans

Cons: Reception
Contract changes
Make sure you read the small print on your contract

Summary: My contract is supposed to be up 4/18/09. I signed up online and Sprint changed my service contract to 11/12/09 without notifying me. It says on the contract they have the right to do that but they have to contact you. As far as I know, I was not contacted. They refuse to return it back to original contract date. I am cancelling my service contract and going with another carrier before it is up. I have to leave my home to make a phone call because of "Service unavailable" messages. I often have bad reception and dropped calls that I didn't have my first two years with them. I hope the rest of the nation follows CA ruling where Sprint owes back the $200 early termination fees because people are dissatisfied with service. Perhaps the new CEO of the company should work on reception and customer service issues instead of looking for someone to partner with. BEWARE of cell phone contracts!

The Worst

Overall Rating:
1 out of 5
By: Jack Kane on Thursday, July 24, 2008
From: Stoughton, MA (United States)
Experience: 2 Years
Pros: Slim to none.

Cons: My calls were often inturrpted by dead zones and dropped calls. The power vision charges you for every slight transaction and the customer service was so awful that I almost found it funny, then I remembered I was calling because my knock off version of a good phone could not hold it's charge.

Summary: I wretch whenever I have to use my sprint vision phone for there is no doubt that I will lose my signal. As a two year srpint user I would not recommend getting Sprint unless you enjoy having scarce coverage in densly populated areas. All in all sprint is an awful company that does not offer the service that competitors such as Verizon offer.

Sprint is aweful!

Overall Rating:

By: s h on Thursday, July 10, 2008
From: eagan, MN (United States)
Experience: 8 Years
Pros: Good coverage, few 'dead zones'

Cons: Aweful customer service!! I get charged for games I never purchase, every month. Many other incorrect charges, but can't rectify because their customer service agents can't communicate, and don't know what they're doing.

Summary: Don't go with Sprint. I'm dropping them as soon as my contract is up (if not sooner).

Sprint tries, but fails

Overall Rating:
1 out of 5
By: Alex McPherson on Monday, July 07, 2008
From: Marietta, GA (United States)
Experience: 10 Years
Pros: Cheap for a family plan

Cons: Everything. dropped calls, TERRIBLE customer service, about once a month the network freezes for about 5 mins around 10-11 pm/. Nickel and dime you for everything else/ no iphone

Summary: Stay away from Sprint. I would rather pay the extra $10-15 a month with ATT for quality. And they dont have an iphone clone (the Instinct is not even close- too bad the $150 million they spent on advertising). Customer service is a joke. No wonder people are leaving them. I dont have the number, but if call retentions, you can whine to them and threaten to leave cause they'll give you free stuff like money off your bill and free ringtones

Good Plans, Great Phones, Customer Service Stinks

Overall Rating:
3.3 out of 5

Pros: I love the plans sprint has to offer my bill comes out alot cheaper then i had with att plus with sprint i get more features, and i love the phone selection they have

Cons: Sprints Customer service stinks, one rep might have little assitance for you then call again and the other has no clue of where he or she is working.

Summary: Sprint has many great plans to offer, there phones are great love them all, and the only problem im having with sprint for the last 6 years is there customer service it just plane old sucks, and most of the reps dont even know what there doing.

sprint customer service should be named sprint hates their "customers" service

Experience: 10 Years
Pros: No pros that are worth dealing with Sprint customer service.

Cons: Terrible customer service!!! Customer service stinks!! Did I say they have bad customer service?!! Sprint customer service sucks!!

Summary: Don't use Sprint, you'll be sorry because their customer service is awful!! They do not care about their customers! My last and final problem with Sprint was this week when I tried to add a service to my plan. I was on the phone with customer service for over an hour trying to add Sprint family locator service to my plan. HELLO! Customer wanting to pay more money!! You would think that they would want more business. After 3 CSRs (who had heavy accents and were almost impossible to understand), a supervisor (who also had a heavy accent and was nearly impossible to understand), 2 emails, and a failed attempt at chatting, I still do not have the service I requested. I am currently looking for a new cell company. I can't believe Sprint is still in business!! They run their customers off! I will never use Sprint again!!
