Verizon Wireless user review

Looking to change

By: Sanjay Parekh on Friday, November 23, 2007
From Pleasanton CA (United States)
Experience: 4 Years
Pros: Wide coverage area.

Cons: Pricey. Limited handsets.

Summary: Wide coverage area still causes calls to be dropped or go straight to voicemail. This happens more within in-network calling. Very pricey. I wonder if the price premium is worth the wider coverage map now a days as att and metropcs are getting better and better.
Phones are mostly Korean made. I have not had much problems with LG but the handsets' user interface is not that great. One has to push too many buttons to do anything even something as simple as accessing the contacts. The dataplans are too pricey. Further, to add another line can get pricey as well as they lock you into another two years worth of contract. They will hit you with activation fees, etc.
