Pros: Almost always have a signal, only 3 or 4 dropped calls in 2 years, good phones, decent customer service, great corporate discounts available (i.e. I get a discount even though I don't use my VZW phone for work)
Cons: Stores are always crowded because, while their customer service is generally pleasant, their employees don't move too quickly and everything (technical service, new service, upgrades) takes tooooooo long.
Summary: Verizon is far and away the best carrier available in the Northeast. I had Sprint for two years and had terrible reception and then Cingular for two years with even worse reception. I've literally had only 3 or 4 dropped calls in my time with Verizon, though I will admit that their reception on Cape Cod isn't as good as Cingular's.
