Pros: I switched from Cingular to Verizon. Previously had 40% dropped calls. I can't remember last dropped call with Verizon. Friendly customer service has been excellent and product quality and support has been great. Quick to resolve billing questions.
Cons: Lag behind competitors in offering the latest in cell phone technology and features. Locked bluetooth functions.
Summary: Yes, it may be a more expensive service. However, for reliability and dependability you won't find a better cell phone carrier. You can go with a cheaper provider to save a few bucks, but the savings often equates to poor service and/or poor customer support.
