Pros: Until this episode, we were all satisfied with Verizon Service. A bit expensive, but a good plan.
Cons: Unreasonable and disrespectful customer service reps.
Summary: My son has recently been deployed to the Persian Gulf. Upon hearing of his deployment he contacted Verizon about his cell service and was told to pay his bill to date and to fax his official orders. This would put his cell service on hold until his return - all of which he had done according to everything they had told him. A month after his deployment, a bill arrived at his home. When I (his Mother) contacted Verizon to REMIND them of his deployment I was told - and I quote - "Well, You pay it"! and, "If this bill is not paid, it will end up in collection, so you might as well pay it yourself" - from a "Supervisor" That is the type of disrespectful and unprofessional service you can expect from Verizon. Buyer beware!!! Any company with such obvious and blatant disrespect for our serving men and women do NOT deserve your hard earned money!
