Pros: They offer many plans to fit your daily life. Verizon also offers many services, such as internet, text messaging, video and music downloads, ringtones, games, and much more now that they have Vcast and mobile TV. Call quality is good mostly everywere. Customer service can be good at times, but depends. Cons: I get about 10 or less dropped calls about every month, and call quality drops sometimes. All their services are expensive, such as the VCast pack, which is about $15 a month, plus music and video downloading fees (another plan is $3 dollars a day, plus fees). Text messaging is about $5 dollars a month too, and internet is another $5 dollars. Most of their ringtones and games are too overvalued and you are better off downloading them off the internet to your phone. When I visited customer seSummary: Verizon is a good phone company. They offer many services, but they are all too expensive. This company is recommended for bussiness men/women, and big families. But if you are a big texter, talker, gamer, or whatever, you are better off with helio, sprint, or other companies that offer similar services. Overall, if you want to use this company, you have to keep your plan simple if you don't want to spend over $80 dollars.

Pros: Amazing service - anything goes wrong, just find the closest store. Better plan based on my usage? I get a text msg asking if I want to upgrade! And now one-up available - I can get a new phone every 6 months at the contract price w/o changing my plan!!!Cons: Just wish they were GSM so had convenience of SIM cards and international roaming... they do have a rent a phone service if going overseas for a long period of time.Summary: The coverage is fantastic, the service is great, the people in the stores and on the phones are always knowledgable and helpful. Can check your minutes at any time with #MIN and upgrade your roaming capabilities regularly with #ACT.
I have a work and personal VZ phones and often wind up letting friends "borrow" one of my phones b/c of their poor coverage w/ Sprint and Cingular. And with my entire family on VZ phones we can talk as often and as long as we like thanks to Mobile-2-Mobile built into the plans.

Pros:
good call quality.Cons: priciest phone service.Summary: I chose verizon partly because they were comparable, in prices ,to the other phone companies.since then, they dropped canada in their coverage.they charge $175.00 termination fee for eah phone on a family plan of three phones which they never mentioned before signing a contract.they claim that one contract on family plan of three phones amounts to three separate contracts. This seems to be a trend with VERIZON.

Pros: Great price and amazing customer care!Cons: NoneSummary: I recently switched from Sprint to verizon in jan of 07. Verizon is way ahead of the game than sprint. I tell all my friends to come to verizon, and most of them do!

Pros: They give a $9.00 discount a month for my employer.Cons: Dropped calls, dropped calls, dropped calls.Summary: My husband drives to Vegas from CA every two days for work. He has a great signal and his calls drop all the time no matter who he calls. I used to have a small signal from the house, but now I can't make a call from my home. Not too convenient! My husband had Sprint before we were married and he says that he never had this many dropped calls. Customer service says that even though our phones are only one year old they are too old..but they won't give us a deal on new phones unless we sign up for another two year contract. We aren't happy enough to renew a contract when we don't know if new phones will really solve the problem.

Pros: The staff are not on commision and treat you like a human being. Very helpful, very friendlyCons: Can't think of any!Summary: This store has customer service that is second to none. They made buying a phone a pleasant experience. Because they are not on commision, you get the phone YOU WANT..not what they want you to have. 10 out of 10 !

Pros: Good service, no dropped calls.Cons: Just too darn costlySummary: Was stuck with Verizon, not that I'm dissatisfied with their service, since before I did not want to get a new cell number, but ever since they allowed the switching of numbers, I'm really contemplating it. I can go to US Cellular, and with their Call Me unlimited minutes, I can cut my bill from $80/month to $40/month...that's significant!! But....is US Cellular reliable...I'm worried!

Pros: very few droped calls, good price, great service.Cons: Make sure you don't go over your minutes, it is expensive. Summary: No problems. Exchanged old phone with new Rzar phone for no money. I've been with Verizon since they bought out 360 here in Las Vegas

Pros: Good coverage everywhere I go. Good customer service/support on the phone New Every 2, better pricing then new customersCons: Horrible in store customer service. Data plans are expensive. No Family text plansSummary: I currently have a 5 line family plan and have been with Verizon since day 1 and was with Airtouch before that. The coverage has always been good where ever I have traveled.
Verizon gives you either $50 or $100 off the new customer price on a new phone at the end of a two year contract when you renew for another two years.
Whatever you do, try to do all feature/plan changes and phone upgrades online or through call in customer service. I have found that the customer service reps on the phone are pleasant and will go the extra mile to take care of you. If you upgrade on-line the rebates are instant and shipping is free.
The only reason to go into a store is to look at phone in person. I have found, without exception, dealing with the Verizon corporate store employees to be frustratingly. They are arrogant, condescending, and will lie to you if they think you don't know what you are doing.
Their data plans are expensive and that likely will not change as they cater to business and don't have much excess capacity.

Pros: Cool phonesCons: We have to pay close attention to our bill. One time they over charged us $400.00 and had to re-credit it. It was a hassle just getting them to do that. Minutes are booboo compared to other companies. I really think Verizon needs to change their act before people catch on and change to its competitor. They say it has the best coverage plan, but I have always had an experience with drop calls. I can't even go down the street with out it dropping or taking forever to connect. Summary: They are going down hill, to bad I'm stuck in a contract. But in 7 months I'm out!
