It's alright

Overall Rating:
2.5 out of 5

From: Nashua, NH (United States)
Experience: 2 Years
Pros: Very plain, the buttons are all large and spaced out, and it's a physically durable phone. Speakerphone works very well.

Cons: There tends to be lag between button presses and response on the screen. Battery life is a little short, may have to recharge it every day, sometimes two.

Summary: I had this phone for a long while and I had no problem with it. It's a decent phone with basic capabilities like calling, texting, and downloading ringtones. It was a cheap replacement phone for me, as my other went through the wash, and this was only $18 at the time. I had it for about two years, but then the display just up and died on me.

All in all, it's somewhat decent. You can get it, but there's other Kyocera phones out there now for just about the same price that are better.

Piece of Junk

Experience: 6 Months
Pros: 1. it's cute, nice design
2. easy navigation, large buttons and distinct icons
3. sound is great

Cons: 1. Horrible battery life!!

Summary: I bought an Oystr that had a defective battery and promptly exchanged it for another oystr (the one I have currently) and it has the exact same battery problems. I have to charge it every day only to have it die within a couple of hours. Plus, I have only owned the phone for maybe six months and the screen is blanking out. I have spoken to friends who also own an oystr and they are having similar problems, especially with the terrible battery life.

Experience: 2 Months
Pros: Great look, web browsing is easy, the buttons are big and not small to where you accidently push another button, small and descrete, battery life is long.

Cons: A little slow going from the background to folders on the phone, sound quality is that great for ringtones, screen is a little small but do-able.

Summary: From my experience with my phone, I find it to be a good phone it is nice and small and fits almost anywhere, and is great to go anywhere. I would recomend this phone to anyone and everyone. This is an excellent phone for just everyday use.
