LG Lotus LX600-Black Cell Phone
Part 2 of Noah's full review of the QWERTY-rific LG Lotus clamshell phone for Sprint. Part 1 of Noah's full review of the LG Lotus QWERTY clamshell for Sprint. Fierce! It's the unique new LG Lotus for Sprint - a square-shaped clamshell with a full QWERTY board inside. GPS, Sprint TV & Music, 2MP Camera, HTML Browser, Mobile IM and Email ... Noah checks out this fashion-forward feature phone. Noah gets Fierce! with the new LG Lotus for Sprint and a one-of-a-kind accessory designed by Christian from Project Runway. Lotus has a unique square design and features a full QWERTY, access to Sprint Music and TV, and two fashion-forward color choices. And now for something completely different… Christian Siriano and LG partnered up once again to spotlight the Lotus during Fashion Week in New York. Lucky me, I got an up-close look at the designer’s latest on the runway last night — and I have to say, I’m impressed. Last fall, Siriano — erstwhile contestant and last year’s winner of Project Runway — created a scarf with a designated pocket specifically tailored to fit the LG Lotus (which is, by... Sprint's LG Lotus is one of my - and Adriana's - favorite phones of the
year. While the square, makeup-compact-lookalike shape may strike some
as odd, it allows for a nice, big display and full QWERTY board in a
compact form factor. And it's a flip, which some people just can't
live without (ahem, RA, ahem).
Well, if you're on Verizon and you've been jealous of your
neighbor's Lotus for the past few months, you're time is... It's that time of year ... No, not Christmas, Hanukkah, or Winter Solstice time ... It's year-end awards time! The PhoneDog Editors will be selecting our personal Phone of the Year favorites over the coming weeks, but we're more interested in what you have to say.
Last but certainly not least is Sprint. When they weren't busy launching their Xohm WiMax network, Sprint put a ton of marketing muscle behind the Samsung Instinct. ... Pros: Stylish design, tactile QWERTY board, generous widescreen, decent camera, exceptional ease-of-use, CDMA, 3G, EV-DO, GPS, BluetoothCons: Occasionally slow switching between apps/inputting data, no 3.5 mm headset jack, expensiveLadies with an attitude, fellas that are in the mood... Let's get to it.The Lotus, a morsel of deliciousness courtesy of LG, is -- in a word -- sublime. Why, you ask? Because it's easy to use, it works well and it... The Bark is Back for Election Day! Noah gets his paws all over a dozen new phones, including the BlackBerry Bold for AT&T, HTC Touch Pro for Sprint, Motorola ZN5 for T-Mobile, and LG Lotus for Sprint. Plus, an update on PhoneDog TV and the latest from spy::mix. Carrier: SprintRetail Price:$299.99 or via ebayContract Price:$149.99 or via Let's TalkHot Feature: Square flip with full QWERTY
The LG Lotus utilizes a unique wider form factor that allows for a full QWERTY style keyboard in a clamshell design. Key features include a large 240 x 320 internal display stereo Bluetooth, 2.0 megapixel camera, support for Sprint TV, media player, microSD memory card slot and email/text/IM... Summary: This phone is probably the best phone you will ever use in your life. It has the nice QWERTY keyboard and the 2.0 megaapixel camera. The internet so far is so awesome you will just die for it!!! The messaging is the best use for the phone. Anyway..... Pros: Big screen from sprint, Great design ( the square boggles peoples mind ), the speakers are load, threaded messages are great! All of the bluetooth capabilities are amazing, and the camera is very good Cons: small outer screen, the outer screen is bad in direct sunlight Summary: I love this phone, in my mind it is the best non-smart phone sprint had for under 100 bucks! The phone is easy to use, the keyboard is great. The camera has great quality and it has ok video quality. 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful Pros: Qwerty keyboard. Large screen. MP3 shortcut keys. Cons: Nothing! Summary: I reallly like my Lg Lotus. It is soo user friendly. Everything is right at my fingertips. I text like crazy and at the end of the day I at least have 2 battery bars left. :) Pros: Clamshell/QWERTY combination Size Useability Cons: No MS Exchange ActiveSync No VPN capability (evidently) Summary: For me the QWERTY/Clamshell combination is a life-saver. I have no interest in carrying around a shoebox on my belt or in my pocket for the rest of my life. Unfortunately, for me to function in my IT/Infrastructure support role, I need a phone than can SSH into unix systems and talk to an Exchange server/VPN into my company network. In the absence of these tools, all I can do is lament how wonderful life would be if the physical uniqueness of this phone could be leveraged for something more substantial than cronic messagingaholics. Pros: Qwerty keyboard Text friendly Big screen User friendly everything u could want!! Cons: None that I can think of so far. Summary: Everything is at your finger tips with this phone. The color is great, the keyboard is easy to use, the feaures are great!! I recommend this phone to anyone that is a big texter. I get compliments just on the color and the cool shape but when they open this baby they get surprised at the qwerty keyboard and the features. 7 out of 9 people found this review helpful All LG Lotus LX600-Black user reviewshey everyone, I am trying to figure out what phone I should go with. I have choice either the the rumor2 or the lotus, dose any one have a say on either phone Each phone has their pros and cons, the lotus is a flip style phone and has a qwerty board in side while the rant's keyboard slides down. The lotus has a slightly weird keyboard because the "back" key is located above the qwerty keyboard, while the rant's is more intergrated with the keyboard. it more depends on your preferences, but I've seen more people fall in love with the rant than the lotus. Im getting a new phone, THIS WEEK! I cant decide on which phone to
purchase. I luv to text ALL day, and take alot of pictures. Both of
these phones...*Have a 2.0 MP camera*QWERTY keyboard*Sprint One Click*Unique designsI cant decide and I could really use your help!! Just posts pros and cons, etc. Thanks soooo much in advance. Yes, Lotus is MUCH better it has a better keyboard and the Rant is just heavy to me :D definitely lotus. its got a much better browser, its got a bigger screen for watching videos and it comes with guitar hero 3 mobile. the rant just sucks Is it possible to download a browser on my lotus. On regular webpages I can't scroll to the right to see the whole page. If there is something I'm missing about that could someone tell me. Thank you If you have the song you want on your computer you can convert it to a format that woks for your phone.
Where can you convert it?
go to www.mediaconverter.org
convert it, download it and try to attach it to an e-mail or through a data cable or via micro SD!
Hope this helps, (its my first post here) LG LOUTUS IS THE WAY TO GO.But thats my opinion. which phone do u think is better between this two phones?or any phone on Sprint?
