Happy Monday, and a quick hello to you. First off, congrats to the Tampa Bay Rays! No, I'm not a Rays fan - I'm not much on baseball in general, actually. Will your next smartphone be a flip? Also, more on the Android "G2" rumor, and news on tons of new cell phones.LG Lotus (Sprint) - Photo GalleryHey, look what just came! Thanks, Vanessa ;-) Here are some photos of the black LG Lotus for Sprint. The QWERTY board feels GREAT so far, as those bubbled chiclet-style keys make up for the relatively small size of the layout. Sprint's new One Click UI is sort of cool and helpful and sort of overdone; I'll have to play with it more, but I hope it winds up being handier more often than it gets in the way. And I'm...<3Overall Rating: By: Tamara Midkiff on Wednesday, November 26, 2008From: McKinney, TX (United States) Experience: 4 Days Pros: Qwerty keyboard. Large screen. MP3 shortcut keys.Cons: Nothing!Summary: I reallly like my Lg Lotus. It is soo user friendly. Everything is right at my fingertips. I text like crazy and at the end of the day I at least have 2 battery bars left. :) Great for non-corporate stuffOverall Rating: By: Al Spohn on Monday, November 24, 2008From: Rochester, MN (United States) Experience: 1 Days Pros: Clamshell/QWERTY combination Size UseabilityCons: No MS Exchange ActiveSync No VPN capability (evidently)Summary: For me the QWERTY/Clamshell combination is a life-saver. I have no interest in carrying around a shoebox on my belt or in my pocket for the rest of my life. Unfortunately, for me to function in my IT/Infrastructure support role, I need a phone than can SSH into unix systems and talk to an Exchange server/VPN into my company network. In the absence of these tools, all I can do is lament how wonderful life would be if the physical uniqueness of this phone could be leveraged for something more substantial than cronic messagingaholics. I LOVE IT!!Overall Rating: By: TANYA CACERES on Wednesday, October 29, 2008From: OMAHA, NE (United States) Experience: 7 Days Pros: Qwerty keyboard Text friendly Big screen User friendly everything u could want!! Cons: None that I can think of so far.Summary: Everything is at your finger tips with this phone. The color is great, the keyboard is easy to use, the feaures are great!! I recommend this phone to anyone that is a big texter. I get compliments just on the color and the cool shape but when they open this baby they get surprised at the qwerty keyboard and the features. 4 out of 6 people found this review helpful
Fantastic phone!!!Overall Rating: By: Chad Richter on Wednesday, October 29, 2008From: Meadville, PA (United States) Experience: 3 Days Pros: -One Click is very easy to use and very helpful ( I personally like having weather and horoscope bubbles from my home icon) -Great camera quality -Style/design is new and refreshing which is great for sprint customers whose main choices were standard flip phones and smartphones. -Tv/radio applications run well (as well as a phone should anyway) -youtube application is also a nice featureCons: -It might just be because since I got it (10/26) I've been barely able to put it down, but the battery is a little lacking. Again it might just be because I'm constantly using it.Summary: All In all I would highly recommend this to any avid texter who wants more than what the Rumor offers, unless you're more into the slider design, then go with the Rant. As far as I know it has pretty much all the same features. I love my lotus! 1 out of 2 people found this review helpful
Cool PhoneOverall Rating: By: Lizzy O on Monday, October 27, 2008From: Valencia, CA (United States) Experience: 5 Days Pros: Great speaker, tv, navigation, holds texts as conversations-easy to go back and re-read, great cameraCons: Almost to many bells and whistles if your coming in from a much older phone, not very easy to change from ringer to vibrate if you need to silence your phone. Battery doesnt seem to last as long as it shouldSummary: Great little phone, everyone loves it who sees it. keyboard easy to use. If you want basics with ring tones etc. this may be too detailed but no major disappointments. 2 out of 2 people found this review helpful
