Form factor has been improved with a thinner, lighter design that adds vibration feedback touch keypad and room for larger capacity memory cards. Other features include stereo bluetooth, 1.3 megapixel camera, EVDO data and speakerphone.

Roses, Chocolates and Cell phones this Valentines Day?

Roses, Chocolates and Cell phones this Valentines Day?
It’s that time of the year again when we all try to find that perfect gift for that special someone. With all of the major carriers offering either a new red or pink version of their most popular models a new cell phone may just be a good alternative (or addition) to the standard heart shaped chocolates and two dozen roses that we’ve all come to expect. Below is a list of the latest cell phone releases geared towards the Valentines Day holiday. Blackberry 8830 in Red The Blackberry 8830...

Top ten best selling phones of the third quarter

Top ten best selling phones of the third quarter
Did you guess the iPhone or maybe the Chocolate by LG? Both would seem likely contenders to take the top spot, but unfortunately they didn’t even make the top three! The infamous Motorola Razr V3, yes the original version out sold all other consumer models to take the top spot for the third quarter. Part of its staying power has to be attributed to the fact most of the carriers offer the V3 for free with new service. Motorola actually faired well having four models make the top ten list,...

Best Groomed: Top 5 Style-Conscious Phones

Sometimes you just need looks that kill.  While none of these mobiles are lacking for features, it's their high style that you'll notice first.  And they'll get you noticed, too - for your good taste, not your crazy ringtone. 1. Motorola K1 KRZR - Verizon/Alltel CDMA (K1m) and Unlocked GSM (K1)The successor to the RAZR is taller, curvier, and gentler to the touch.  Where the RAZR was all about hard edges, the KRZR's built on sensuous curves, glossy reflective glass, and a...

LG VX-8500-Chocolate in-depth review - Introduction & Design

The LG chocolate phone was made and released for Valentines Day, hence the name Chocolate phone. The phone got very famous quite fast because of the design and futuristic look. Although the LG chocolate phone is more famous, the Samsung E900 is a direct competitor, but which is better for you? Even though the phone is called chocolate, it sure doesn’t taste like it!!    The LG chocolate is a slider phone and when open it reveals the keypad. The best part of the phone is...

Great phone, but not the best

Overall Rating:
4.3 out of 5
By: dustin pline on Monday, May 26, 2008
From: lansing, MI (United States)
Experience: 8 Months
Pros: Great camera, keys are close together so its really easy to text, vibrates so you know when you pressed the heat sensored buttons, very loud speaker phone, big screen, very fast scrolling with the wheel, loud earpeace so you can hear the person on the other line very well in loud places, 3 very different themes for your own personalization, screen does not scratch easy, people will look at it and think you spent a fortune on it =], great battery life if you have the settings right.

Cons: No flash on camera, hard to slide up after eating greasy food, when pushing up, down, right, or left, sometimes i would slide the wheel accidentally so it would throw my scrolling off.

Summary: I got this for my 14th birthday. I had no expectations on what phone i wanted or what features i like. as long as it had a camera i was fine. its a great phone overall exept for the things that I, personally, thought should have been changed such as flash for the camera.

Great Phone

Overall Rating:
4.7 out of 5
By: sarah noneya on Wednesday, December 19, 2007
From: jamestown, NY (United States)
Experience: 1 Years
Pros: Music and other great offers

Cons: touchsceen- sometimes, you have to press the buttons more than once, and if it's in your pocket and not on the lock mode, buttoms might be pressed and messeges could be accidentally sent, contacts erased, etc.

Summary: the newer chocolates are very efficient and stylish! i have dropped mine well over 30 times (literally!) and it still continues to work. This Christmas, i have the choice of upgrading, but I’m choosing to stay with the chocolate! its very easy to use and fits my needs. i can have a few music files, around 1,000 contacts, games, updating ring-tones, etc. i think it's well worth the money and is everything you're going to want and need!
