Elders don't buy

Overall Rating:
2.2 out of 5
By: Karl Loren on Friday, March 07, 2008
From: Canyon Country, CA (United States)
Experience: 10 Days
Pros: It is pretty -0- lots of features

Cons: Not for the technically challenged

Summary: I'm in my 70s and don't need this level of fancy. Nextel tried to transfer my old phone numbers to this model, only about 1/3 transferred, then trying to use the web address book took me 3 hours with Tier 2 Tech service and no succcess. It is far far too complicated for me. I will return it within 30 days to get a refund/replacement.

Great while it lasted

Overall Rating:
2.5 out of 5
By: Jonathan Black on Saturday, October 13, 2007
From: Boston, MA (United States)
Experience: 7 Months
Pros: Bluetooth, camera, and great form factor

Cons: Durability, connectivity

Summary: This phone was great for the first six months and then it was hit by the screen flip many folks are complaining about. At first it was random, then it was frequent, now it's permanent.

While it lasted I really liked this phone. It was a good size, comfortable to use and decent features. It's only downside was the difficulty moving the address book via bluetooth - only one contact at a time. Unfortunately, the apparent defect that appears after a few months of normal use forces me to rate this rather poorly.

A Must "DON"T BUY"

Overall Rating:
2.3 out of 5
By: Mel None on Tuesday, September 04, 2007
From: Brooklyn, NY (United States)
Experience: 9 Months
Pros: Good Camara, and Speaker Volume.

Cons: The issue with the screen- well I am up to my 3rd I880 due to the screen flipping upside down after a few months of use (without dropping it) I purchased the insurance, which is a bunch of crap- they want you to fill out a 2 page report, then get it notarized and finally they must review it before they determine if you will get another phone-and you must pay $50 upfront.

Summary: Buy a cheaper phone- less headaches.

Don't Buy

Overall Rating:
2.5 out of 5
By: Anita Dunbar on Friday, August 31, 2007
From: neptune, NJ (United States)
Experience: 7 Months
Pros: light weight

Cons: Doesn't last very long for the price I paid.

Summary: I have had this phone for about 7 months. It has never been dropped/abused. The backlight doesn't work if opened all the way. When opened half way all of the numbers/names etc. are upside down. I was told to remove then replace the battery. Still doesn't work properly. I was told to send it back and they will return it in 2-3 business days. For the price I paid this is absurd.I do not get a loner phone because I did not purchase the insurance. Why should I? My i860 lasted two years before I had any problem. If these phones are defects they should be replaced at no charge.
