Pros: Phone seems great, looks good, sounds terrificCons: The Bluetooth does not work in my 2006 Lexus - I am so disappointedSummary: The phone is very nice, but i am amazed that the Razor phone technology of the older Razors works in my car, but not the new one.

Pros: Great sound, slim, and easy to use.Cons: Bluetooth signal drops off often. Needs revision.Summary: I love the phone. It's great and has a lot of features that I use on a daily basis. I can't wait to get the next version with the MP3 player.
By: Sean Bain on Saturday, December 09, 2006 From: Ames, Midwest (United States) Experience: 5 Months
Pros: Sleek design, camera, and easy to store.Cons: Buttons are hard to push and the antennae doesn't work very well.Summary: Overall, its a great phone. Nice design and definitely looks nice using it. The reception quality really depends on what service you use. I'm not going to say my service, but it tends to drop calls a lot even though they say they drop the least amount!

Pros: no problems at all, very powerfulCons: noneSummary: I have had this phone for some time and neever had any problems with it. It is very user friendly. I also like it shape and size. The color doesn't show any finger prints.
By: BYRON BARGER on Tuesday, November 28, 2006 From: AMELIA, OH (United States) Experience: 30 Days
Pros: Great speaker slim siize and easy to carryCons: very thinSummary: In general, I like my RAZR . It has a great speaker unlike phones that I have had in the past. It holds a charge and gets freat reception. The phone however is very fragile and I am afraid it will break. All in all it is a bery good phone.
By: Tim ta on Monday, November 27, 2006 From: lawrenceville, GA (United States) Experience: 1 Years
Pros: The style is excellent, voice quality is the best, ease of useCons: noneSummary: it has cool features and it is can be used worldwide. it has calculator, alarm, video camera, photo camera, and we can store our phone number directly to sim or the phone itself
By: Joanne Moyer on Monday, November 27, 2006 From: Pennsauken, NJ (United States) Experience: 18 Months
Pros: Slim, powerful, fun to use, log battery lifeCons: No video capture, camera low megapixelsSummary: This phone is one of the earliest RAZR phones by Motorola. It is compatible with the GSM network. This phone has never let me down. The quality of the calls are clear, easy to use, small enough to slip in your pocket and not be bulky.
By: Aegina Barnes on Monday, November 27, 2006 From: Forest Hills, NY (United States) Experience: 18 Months
Pros: It's sleek, lightweight, fits anywhere and the camera is useful.Cons: The sound can be terrible, the photos are often grainy, and it can be easily forgotten in clothing or dropped without you noticing. Summary: I like the look and feel of the RAZR, but next time I'll probably go for something a little more substantial -- I'm always worried about this one dropping or being left in a pocket, and the sound quality is not that great. There are fun features, like the photo address book, and having the camera with video is nice, but I want to see what better options are out there.

Pros: Sleek Design big keypad big screen loud volume bluetooth easy functions holds over 100 text messagesCons: takes a while to load things delicate easily gets water damageSummary: I haven't been much of a fan for motorolas for two reasons: the low capacity to hold text messages and the long time it takes to load pictures, even the thumbnails. This phone has improved quite a bit on that holding over 100 texts and speeding up a bit, but one thing i hate about it is that when i text, i type texts faster than the phone picks up so i find myself finishing a sentence and the phone still typing. Overall this phone looks very good and isn't bad. I wuold recommend it to girls mostly.
By: Tara B. on Monday, November 27, 2006 From: Mount Vernon, IL (United States) Experience: 4 Months
Pros: Easy to use contact lists and easy to download games and ringtones.Cons: Constantly drops calls whenever i'm around computers and the video recording only lasts 15 seconds.Summary: As part of the Razr family, the Motorola Razr V3c for Verizon casts the same slim profile that has made it the most popular cell phone. At 3.9 by 2.1 by 0.6 inches and 3.5 ounces, the V3c is a hair bigger and heavier than the original Razr, but you don't notice the difference at all. In fact, it slips so easily into a pocket that it can be difficult to feel the vibrating ring. I liked the pink coloring. The external display and controls and the location of the camera lens are the same on the first Razr. And here again, there's no camera flash.
What’s Good: Stunning hardware design and elegant software user interface; front panel is subdued, intuitive and refined; display is bright and sharp with excellent contrast; sensitive touch-screen; amazing orientation and localized haptic feedback capabilities; secondary camera for video calls; easy internet connection sharing; glorious font rendition. What’s Not Good: Stylus is a virtual requirement for accessing certain parts of the user...
During the live demo at the T-Mobile / HTC / Google Android launch event, Doug got a chance to take a closer look at some of the T-Mobile G1's hardware. The device comes with a 1GB SD card, USB port, and removable battery.
T-Mobile's G1 emulator
is online, and playing with it is just like messing around with the
not-yet-available HTC H1 Android phone. Except for the phone part. The
emulator is pretty cool, and honestly got me a little more jazzed to
try out a G1 in person. Don't get me wrong, I was jazzed already - but
the emulator made me forget about the phone's perceived hardware
shortcomings and instead focus on the Android user experience,...
Has anyone out there upgraded their Samsung Instinct to the latest firmware rev.? I got a few reports that Sprint and Samsung have unleashed a new version that focuses on the Web browser. Sounds like there might just be a full screen option (mapped to the Voice Command button) as well as general speed and stability improvements.Got an Instinct? Upgraded it? Hit the Web and let us know how it is!
Love the HTC Touch Diamond but tired of basic black? Or maybe you're
into Sprint's red version but wish you could get the GSM version with
the original "faceted" back plate done up in red? You may be in luck.
French retailer Phone and Phone has the Touch Diamond in seven new
colors on its website, and while there's nothing about worldwide
availability of the newly colored faceplates, if this is legit it would
stand to...
Part 2 of Noah's review of the first CDMA Touch Diamond - Sprint's version. Is it a diamond or just a piece of cubic zirconia? Watch Part 2 to find out.
Noah goes in-depth with Sprint's version of the HTC Touch Diamond. Is this the best Windows Mobile phone out there right now? Find out what kravvykrav thinks, and decide for yourself, in Part 1 of the review.
I got this question today via Facebook and thought it warranted some thought ... and all that thought warranted a blog post. So I ask you, as you read on, what do YOU think? Why do some people just seem to hate the iPhone (and Apple) so much? Noah, maybe you can answer this for me: Why is it when people praise the iPhone, they're viewed as either blind fanboys, or on the Cupertino payroll, and when people praise 'any' other...
Watching this video from Italian site ilTrillo.com is seriously a lot like watching a bootleg copy of a first-run movie that hasn't come to your local theater yet. In this case it goes like this: Yeah, you get to see more on the BlackBerry Storm but you have to suffer through a shaky handycam vid shot from the back of the auditorium and also deal with clipping audio and lots of people's heads between you and the content you really want to...
Apparently the home office has been getting a lot of impatient
questions about the full review Sprint Touch Diamond video I promised
when I did the unboxing vid a little while back. I really didn't mean
to keep you in the dark on this one, folks, so here's an update.
I
shot a bunch of footage on Tuesday and Wednesday but wasn't sure that I
was happy with it. No matter, for when I sat down to edit, the largest
of my footage...
Motorla's MING series of Linux-based, touchscreen smartphones have been pretty popular overseas but never really seen the light of day here in the US. Sure, you could pick up an unlocked GSM MING via CompUSA or an importer, but without carrier backing most Americans had no idea that MING was a phone and not *just* a dynasty from their history books.
Looks like Verizon Wireless is aiming to change all of that with the introduction of...
Nokia held a big shindig in London today where, as expected, they officially launched the XpressMusic 5800. The 5800 is the first device to feature the S60 5th Edition operating system, which adds support for fingertip and stylus-based input and high-resolution displays. As you might expect from that, the 5800 does in fact pack a high-res, touch-friendly screen: 3.2" of resistive touchscreen at 640 x 360 pixels.
The 5800 also...
Sprint launched its WiMAX service, "XOHM," in its first public market earlier this week. Customers in Baltimore, MD can now sign up for daily and/or monthly mobile broadband service thanks to the US' first commercial deployment of next-gen wireless internet service, and Sprint's going to be rolling out XOHM (which operates on the 802.16e standard, in case you were curious) next in Chicago, Washington DC, Providence, RI, Boston, and...
I've been using SportsTap, a free iPhone application available at Apple's App Store, for the past month or two now. As of yesterday I'm no longer using it, and have replaced it on my Home screen with a link to ESPN's iPhone-optimized mobile site. Why?1. This past Sunday I was hanging out with a Mets fan friend of mine. I used SportsTap to check the score of the Mets game - which baseball fans know was do-or-die (die,...
