Pros: It is slim, good-looking and very easy to use. The menu is easy to understand and a cinch to useCons: There are buttons on the side of the phone and it seems like right where you hold it to talk is where you put it on speakerphone, it can become quite annoying if you don't remind yourself that they are there.Summary: I would recommend this phone because it looks good and it is very easy to use and also it is very lightweight which makes it easy to carry or conceal.

Pros: VERY cute, very slim. Fits easily into my purse or even pocket.Cons: I'm not crazy about the buttons. They could be a little easier to use, not so close together, maybe.Summary: I wanted this phone mainly because I'd heard good things about Razrs. And, I LOVE pink! Well, I enjoy it very much. I get good reception, and also compliments on how cute it is. People are always asking to see it, and if I like it. I give it a thumbs up. Not perfect, but a good phone.

Pros: Lightweight, easily portable, many great features, great reception, long battery lifeCons: Cannot find changeable faceplates, manufacturer does not reccomend use because of one piece design of hinge.Summary: This is the best cell phone I have ever owned. It has many great features including bluetooth, it is easily upgraded, easy to find accessories and applications for. The case is very durable, scratch-resistant, I have dropped it with no harm. The standard battery that came with it holds a charge a LONG time on standby. It is slim and sleek, fits easily into your pocket or a purse. I love this phone!

Pros: Nice and slim, fits easily in your pocket. Has a lot of bells and whistles. Cons: Side buttons getting pushed by accident all the time. No antenna at all, poor service in most places.Summary: I got this phone from my provider for free because of my years of service. I would NEVER pay the $200 + price tag that is on this phone, it is NOT worth it! It is also hard to navigate this phone, I have a hard time finding the features I KNOW it has!

Pros: -Battery lasts a very long time -Motorola bluetooth wireless headsets work very well with this phone -Cool styling, everyone seems to want one. -Nice colorful screen. -Picture and Video -Loud speakerphoneCons: -Not very much memory on the phone for video and picture -Difficult to download ringtones, may just be my service -Hard to find a good looking leather case -Plastic snap case sometimes catches on things and the phone goes flying! -Buttons are small and hard to push at times. -Screen constantly getting smudged when phone is pressed against face in use. Summary: Not a bad phone, I like the ease of use, and compatability with bluetooth wireless headsets. Phone is very slim and sleek. Packed with features, and I haven't had a problem with it yet, even with the occasional rough treatment.

Pros: Slim, easy to use, fits the face good when using, decent battery life.Cons: Some features can be confusing to learn, at least for me.Summary: I had never owned a cellphone with a camera before. Once I learned how to take and send pictures, I was off! First, I took a pic of me and sent it to everyone to show them my latest look! I find it an easy and convenient method with keeping in touch and up-to-date with everyone. Phone even takes video and with a new kitten that has been a blast. Took some time for me to figure out how to download music and play it with the MP3 player but I am not up with the latest techno gadgets like I once was. Overall I would recommend the Razr to anyone.

Pros: Great screen quality, many extra features, Bluetooth technology.Cons: Limited video time, minor water damages make problems, audio options seem harder too control.Summary: This phone has many features... camera, video settings, Bluetooth for transfering files for FREE, texting capabilities, and much more. No games are included, but the extras are good.

By: Jackie Lowe on Tuesday, July 18, 2006 From: Eureka, CA (United States) Experience: 14 Days
Pros: The Screen, Sound Quality-on and off the speakerphone, MP3, GPS, and decent battery life so far...
Cons: Lack of decent ringtones and trying to keep it looking clean (fingerprints!)Summary: When deciding to make the switch to the Motorola RAZR V3m, I was very hesitant. For one, I had never owned a Motorola cell phone and secondly, I didn't think I was the "RAZR" owner type!
Well the V3m proved me wrong. I think the best part about the RAZR is the size of the screen and the clarity. It's really fun to navigate the menus and so easy to see.
By: Mary Whitfield on Friday, June 30, 2006 From: Charlotte, NC (United States) Experience: 3 Weeks
Pros: I have to say that the most impressive feature for me so far has been the speaker quality. When they said the new model of the RAZR was a music phone I wasn't sure what to expect but my ringtones, MP3 music, and even just using the speakerphone are awesome. The camera is great and just showing people pictures on the display they are impressed by the clarity. Cons: You have to be really careful with the phone if you do not want for it to get scratched up easily. I wish the video feature recorded for longer.Summary: I am excited about my purchase and really enjoy using the phone. The phone has almost every feature and really does make having this phone fun!

The horribly over-hyped, gimmicky, disappointing, bug-plagued BlackBerry Storm should soon be getting its first dose of badly-needed firmware fixes, according to Greg over at MobileCrunch, and a host of other Internet reports. I still think the Storm would be best off slimming down and losing the silly click-screen mechanism altogether, but if you're digging the SurePress action and just waiting until the lags, crashes, and other kinks get...
Around these parts we spend a lot of time covering an industry that revolves around consumerism. I make no bones about the fact that your interest in buying newer, faster, better, and shinier gadgetry goes a long way to making my gig here at PhoneDog possible. Given that I think it'd be utterly hypocritical for me to write another article decrying America for its greedy, overly-materialistic ways. I love technology and gadgets...
There's a countdown timer on Nokia's website that's set to expire at 9:15 CET - that's 12:15 AM, Pacific time - tomorrow morning, December 2nd. The timer will strike zero to coincide with the keynote address at Nokia World, a developer's conference in Barcelona, Spain.Nokia World has traditionally not been a venue for big product announcements from the world's #1 maker of cell phones, but tradition seems set to change as of tomorrow. ...
Just in case you didn't do enough shopping on the good old Interweb at lunchtime today, there are plenty more deals to check out when you get home, like Sprint's CyberMonday giveaways. Props to the carrier for realizing there's very little that beats FREE, especially when it comes to gift-shopping. These deals are offered only for a limited time and are good for new activations and eligible upgrades with, of course, a 2-year contract. Palm...
Hello, and welcome to the first installment of Dr. Photo. I’m Adam and yes, I’m a doctor, but no, I don’t know what that thing on your elbow is… I’m a physical chemist (which is how I get away with calling myself a doctor without ever touching people) and a professional photographer and have been called in by my friends at PhoneDog to take a close look at cell phones from a photographer’s point of view (less so from a chemist’s, although I’m...

The Motorola Hint QA30 sports a full QWERTY keyboard hidden behind its large 2.5" QVGA display making it a perfect choice for anyone who needs to text or email alot. Key features include stereo Bluetooth, 2.0 megapixel camera with video capture, MP3 player, microSD slot (up to 8GB), 3.5mm...
Pros: 3G, full QWERTY, total messaging package, good value, feels tough. Cons: GPS isn't free, it's pretty thick.
I'm loving the selection of messaging devices this season: Propel, Gravity, Slate, Quickfire, Rant, and Matrix are a few off the top of my head, but I know there are more out there. If you're heavy on text and into the novelty of experimental form factors, the Matrix should be at the top of your list. The C740 is an updated...
Those of you who follow Noah's Bark and PhoneDogTV know that kravvykrav has had his share of dangerously close encounters with people who talk on the phone while driving. Most of us have had similar experiences, and the rest have at least been annoyed. Even when using bluetooth, there are activities that just don't mix with phone calls. Some are risky, some are funny, and some are just plain rude. When you're in the driver's seat, leave it...

I don't want to kill anyone's Black Friday shopping buzz, or discourage you from buying the G1 as a holiday gift. But I have dedicated a lot of posts to pointing out the benefits of this phone, and it's operating system, Android. I think it's time that I cover some negative aspects of the device. Most design problems become apparent over time, and may not be recognizable during an in-store test. They're not the kind of thing you want to be...
AT&T has a "two for the price of one" sale going on the Pantech Matrix and Samsung Propel this Thanksgiving, and it will be in effect at least until Sunday. It's kind of a messy deal. You have to sign a contract and pay $129.99 for the first device, but you'll get a $50 rebate in the mail. Still, it's a cool way to get messaging devices into the hands of couples. A worker at a local AT&T kiosk told me last night that he was doing a...
