Two-way radio service on a cellular phone is a walkie-talkie type feature that allows for you to push a button and be instantly connected to another party without having to make a phone call.  Once you finish speaking and release the button, the person on the other end can respond by pressing the button on their phone and speaking.  Advancements in two way radio services make it possible for you to communicate with friends and family across the United States.  Verizon wireless and Sprint together with Nextel, are two of the major service providers who offer two-way radio connectivity.

Video: Sprint Samsung Instinct Review: GPS, Visual Voicemail, Calendar
One last Instinct video covering GPS, Visual Voicemail, and the Calendar. Overall it's a really solid phone. And at $129? Best value goin' for Sprint customers wanting a high-end device. Too bad there's no calendar synching, though.

The Sound of Money: Sprint's Selling Loads of Instincts

The Sound of Money: Sprints Selling Loads of Instincts
Given that the Samsung Instinct is Sprint's flashiest, most hyped device ever, has received mainly good reviews since it launched a week ago, and was priced at a bargain basement $129 on contract, this shouldn't come as much of a surprise.  Sprint sent out word this morning that Instinct's broken all sorts of sales records in its first week on the shelves, and word around the InterWeb is that the handset is sold out all over the place. “We had high expectations going into the launch...

Work Support: Sprint Announces Corporate Email for Dumbphones

Work Support: Sprint Announces Corporate Email for Dumbphones
Yesterday Sprint announced business email access for non-PDA phones.  Essentially this means that you can connect to your workplace email from a handful of non-smartphones, so long as your work runs Microsoft Exchange Server or IBM Lotus Notes. The new service debuted today on the Samsung Instinct (you've heard of that one, right?) and will be rolling out in the coming weeks on 11 more, including the Rumor by LG; Katana and Katana II by Sanyo; and the Motorola RAZR, RAZR 2 and...

Frankly, I was expecting Instinct to come in around $199 so this comes as a bit of...

Instinct: Sprint Instinct Will Work on SERO Plans

Instinct: Sprint Instinct Will Work on SERO Plans
Check this out ... I just got word that Sprint's soon to be released flagship device, the Samsung Instinct, will be available for use with SERO plans.  That sound you hear is the faint but hearty applause of in-the-know Sprint subscribers cheering.  For those who don't know, SERO is the Sprint Exclusive Referral Offer and it offers siginificant savings as compared to regular Sprint plans.  I don't have details yet regarding pricing, or how Sprint's going to work...

Instinct: Another Video Coming Next Week

Instinct: Another Video Coming Next Week
Hey all you Instinct fans ... thanks for the comments and questions, and I just want you to know I haven't forgotten about you and we're not done yet.  I'm working on a video review of Instinct's Calendar, Navigation, and Speech-to-Action (Voice Command) features, as so many of you have requested.Unfortunately some unexpected personal news means I have to go out of town for a few days, so the video won't be done and up online until sometime next week.  Sometimes life...
