Samsung Instinct-M800 Cell Phone User Reviews
Pros: none...but the looks Cons: everthing! Summary: i had this phone for a while , when i first got i was hype. and thats all it is "hype". the phone didnt even work properly...since i got it it been given me problems i been thru 4 since november already.....thinkin bout gettin a G1(android)??? 0 out of 1 people found this review helpful Pros: I love this phone! It has very good response. You can adjust the sensitivity for the screen and calibrate it. Texting and typing is sooo fast. Really good conection. When my friends dont get service, i get it crystal clear. Sprint has the best and cheepest plans. I haven't had a single dropped call and i had this phone for about 7 months. It has several neat options that you can toggle on or off. This phone is very durable. It fell out of my poket millions of times and it doesn't have a scratch Cons: The camera could have been a little better with maybe 3 instead of 2 mega pixels. It will rarely lag or freeze a little bit. Since it is a fairly new phone and design, some games or apps are not compatible but there is still a large selection. Summary: Very fast and durable. A very customizable phone but they should make more accesories for it. Plans are the best and cheepest. Still pretty much the best phone out. It is very competitvely priced. Recomend this to almost anyone! 2 out of 2 people found this review helpful Pros: The phone has many features which are eye catchers, but useful only when, rarely, there are no better alternatives. Navigation is the exception and is excellent. Nice selection of ringtones. Television is fine given current technology, but still not where is should be (it wouldn't be tolerated from a real television). Frequent automatic server backup of basic contact data. The phone has a "substantial" feel. Two batteries. Cons: The phone is constantly updating something, which sounds good if you don't happen to need to, say, make a call when this happens. If one of the many features is being used and a phone call comes in, the phone, then, will completely lock up and the battery must be removed for the phone to again work properly (very frustrating, over and over). The display keyboard is difficult to use without tiny fingers or without a stylus...don't lose the ONE provided. Summary: This phone is more gimmick than useful. Looks nicer than most and is poised against the Iphone and the Gphone; it pales except with the navigation feature which is very impressive. Email feature, too, is quite good, but the phone needs to be reset (remove battery; is this why we get two batteries?) occasionally when this feature, among others, stop updating. I think I can live with this phone, but I am not sure it would be my first choice now that I have used it for over 3 months. If I lost it, I would buy a different phone. I probably would not comfortably recommend this phone to a friend. For a two year contract I would tell the friend to either wait or keep looking at other phones. 0 out of 1 people found this review helpful Pros: The phone is amazing the text works great camera is good, internet is pretty fast, everything works great on it, the phone looks and feels good too Cons: The GPS freezes sometimes which could be pretty bad if you dont know exactly where your going, the phone has froze on me once or twice Summary: Overall the phone is great just a few glitches here and there but thats going to happen with any phone 2 out of 2 people found this review helpful Pros: The touch screen, the network is blazing fast, the many features, incredible gps..the sound is lod.. the list goes on Cons: The camera is funny.. every time i take a pic it says fuzzy picture warning.. maybye its a good thing? Summary: Its a great phone it has every thing u need for a touch screen phone and mpre, the tv is cool, all the features are great music player and every thing is good 2 out of 2 people found this review helpful Pros: Ability to upload music directly from my computer using 2 ways.. fast sevice and exterior design Cons: None really.. Summary: The phone is so easy to use youll like it once u get used to it which wont take long. and the plan and price is so much better than phones in its league 1 out of 2 people found this review helpful Pros: Various great features, fast internet, touchscreen is great, TV, Navigation this phone has it all Cons: None Summary: Overall this phone dominates the compitition and is a very great product, and is easily better then all other touch screen phones. 1 out of 2 people found this review helpful Pros: Ease of use, loud ringers, good design, feels comfortable Cons: Freezes sometimes, network is slow at times, sprint is working on that Summary: Overall this phone is great. I had a motorola Q9c previously and traded for this one. I like the touch screen and the bigger screen for emails, web viewing, etc...texting is a breeze too 1 out of 3 people found this review helpful Pros: It does everything and it does it right. Extremely easy to use. I have had it since it came out and i don't know how they could make it better other than come out with a bigger memory chip. Cons: I haven't found any yet Summary: Really easy to use. the screen is big and bright for all us old folks. The goodies are starting to come out now so check out the new accessaries. I love my new phone. 4 out of 4 people found this review helpful Pros: Reasonable price, fast EVDO access, good sound quality, Easy to use menu. Cons: GPS freezes frequently, you can miss an exit. Not multitouch screen, lacks the finesse of the iPhone screen. I had trouble w/activation - took 3 days to get the data working! Summary: I wanted an iPhone but all my family uses Sprint, I need to stick to Sprint. So I waited. No the Instinct is not an iPhone, but it provides all the iPhone features (albeit w/o the elegance of the iPhone multitouch screen - touch and graphics) and then some more! Plus you get voice commands, user replaceable battery (2 provided), an external battery charger, micro SD card - up to 8 mg support, Video camera, & live Sprint TV. Overall I am pleased and happy with my new phone! I did experience problems w/activation. Not sure what happened, but it took Sprint support 3 days to get the data portion of the phone working! Now I love it! Love having my email instantly! Wish list: IM support, an icon for YouTube, and would like to be able to have more control of the menu, like moving icons around, and to be able to add anything to the favorites screen. 4 out of 4 people found this review helpful Pros: Fast internet, Great GPS, Nice big screen, Responsive touch screen, Many other cool features! Cons: Screen needs screen protecter Tv is ok at times, and kind of blocky, but its the service that needs to work on it. Summary: I bought this pnone when it hit the the stores on the 20th and i am very pleased so far! Everything the advertisements said it does is true so far. The Instinct is a great competitor to the iphone. The only thing is the touch screen is not tempered glass, so you have to use a screen protecter. Overall this phone is a great investment, plus it's really cheap for the type of phone it is! 3 out of 3 people found this review helpful Pros: easy touch access incredible Gps Live tv Cons: There is nothing bad about this phone Summary: The samsung Instinct is a way better phone than the iphone edge or 3g. The iphone does not have a great gps, mms, and no camcorder. Samsung instinct's rev A internet is a lot faster than iphone's. 3 out of 3 people found this review helpful Pros: Everything is great i love the headphone jack, navagation is awsome, web is fast, navagating through the phone is easy. love the fully custumizeable favorites menu.voice recignition and hanworiteing recignition seem to be good. and box was packed with goodies. Cons: The screen could be a little more responsive but good for the most part, wish it was more custumizeable. at first the features take some getting used to but thats with any new phone Summary: Over all the instinct is a great phone. realy user friendly. and is perfect for the everyday media-holic. and with priceing below iphone its a steal. bottom line sprint hit a homerun with the instinct and so did i when i bought it 13 out of 13 people found this review helpful
