Good Phone with features

Overall Rating:
3.7 out of 5
By: Dean Valente on Saturday, March 17, 2007
From: Bothell, WA (United States)
Experience: 90 Days
Pros: Good battery life

Cons: Camera quality is poor. Keypad function is poor. Poor installed ring tone options (geared toward you buying more).

Summary: The phone sounds very good and is very reliable. Battery life is good. The camera quality is poor and makes this feature almost not worth having. The keypad function is poor. I constantly mis-type numbers and goof up text messages.

SCHA870

Overall Rating:
4 out of 5
By: WAYNE REBELLO on Wednesday, October 18, 2006
From: NEW BEDFORD, MA (United States)
Experience: 3 Months
Pros: Compact and lightweight design

Cons: Menu toggle is too small to operate efficiently

Summary: The camera really could use a zoom option. The left, right, up, down toggle is way too small – I keep hitting ok by accident. Picture clarity is good if you are close enough. Lots of other options are available though.

Basic flip with Bluetooth that works for me!

Overall Rating:
3.8 out of 5
By: Laura White on Tuesday, September 19, 2006
From: Anderson, IN (United States)
Experience: 3 Weeks
Pros: Great sound quality, features, and easy to use buttons. E-mailing pictures to friends is easy.

Cons: The phones doesn't have a lot of data or messaging features. Doesn't take the best pictures considering it only has a VGA camera.

Summary: I needed a new cell phone for personal use and found that the A870 was appealing in it's design as well as the features.
