The Sony Ericsson K850i Cyber-Shot is the latest 3G & HSDPA phone supporting the Java Platform 8. The K850i has dual cameras and a large 2.2 inch high resolution display for video calling and other multimedia functions. Key features include 5.0 megapixel camera, FM radio with RDS, push email, stereo bluetooth and Mobile TV (carrier dependant). The K850i will be available in the Q4 of 2007.

Sony Ericsson's Q1 earnings report must have felt like a shot to the midsection of company investors worldwide. SE's profits dropped some 47 percent as compared to -- and sales were off 8% as compared to the same quarter one year ago and a whopping 29% or so from Q4 '07 (which, of course, is the busy holiday shopping season).
SE blames the massive drop in profits on high R&D costs as well as the declining average cost of handsets. According to SE data, the average handset... I've got it on good authority that Sony Ericsson's new flagship Cyber-Shot phone is headed to a major GSM carrier before too long. My money's on AT&T (for the reasons mentioned below), but it could be T-Mobile (for the other reasons mentioned below). Either way the k850a, in all it's 5-megapixel, HSDPA glory, will soon be available from an American network operator.
AT&T's got a history with SE, what with the former Cingular having carried the w810i and currently... The long awaited pair is scheduled for release in selected markets sometime this month. The W910 is Sony’s flagship walkman slider phone is geared toward the music lover with its 1GB memory stick and “shake” feature allowing the user to select songs simply by….well shaking the phone side to side – how that is easier than pushing a button???
The K850 on the other hand with its 5.0 megapixel camera, Xenon flash and 30fps video record capability is geared more towards the photography buff.... London, UK – 11th October, 2007 – With Christmas sales fast approaching, Sony Ericsson today announces that its latest Walkman® and Cyber-shot™ phones, the W910 and the K850, will be available in stores across selected markets from this month.
Since the launch of the W800 in August 2005, sales of Walkman® phones have reached 45 million units. The first Cyber-shot™ phone launched in June 2006 and volumes are now reaching 13 million units. The W910 and the K850 build on... Sony Ericsson has announced two new Cyber-shot phones this week. The quad band, 3G, 5.0 mega-pixel power house K850i (US compatible) and its little brother the tri-band 3.2 mega-pixel K770 (missing the 850 MHz frequency) are the latest high end multimedia phones to be offered by Sony Ericsson. Both phones are packed with features typically reserved for PDA style phones.
With 3G speeds users will be able to take advantage of the video calling feature found on both models along with...
