Great Cell phone keypad isnt hard to use as other reviews say

Overall Rating:
4.8 out of 5
By: Cole Clark on Tuesday, December 12, 2006
From: Cincinnati, OH (United States)
Experience: 20 Days
Pros: Feature rich(built in MP3 player video and picture capture and editing) also the included PC connect cable is awesome you can put games on it and ringtones for free and killer themes, amazing battery life the radio on it is a nifty feature not many phones have anymore with RDS is even cooler so it tells you (if the station supports it) what song your listening to

Cons: sometimes too light to realize you have it in your pockets, reception is poor in basements, no external voice command button, headset cable is a bit too long

Summary: Overall if your looking for a cool hot looking phone that does about everything (MP3,video,internet,games,organizer,Radio) and not pay alot of money and stand out in the crowd of Motorola's and Nokias try this one out you may not like the keypad at first but it wont take long at all about 3 days for me to get used to it like the back of your hand

Problems with reception

Overall Rating:
3 out of 5
By: Billie Slocum on Sunday, November 05, 2006
From: Forsyth, MO (United States)
Experience: 1 Years
Pros: They have very nice phones

Cons: I have had (8) phones in one year due to the quality of there phones!

Summary: I have a problem with my cell phone because of the fact that I can be sitting in the same place as my husband with the (same carrier)and he can get a good reception probably 3-4 bars and I am lucky enough to maybe get one bar.Not only that but I have had very poor quality of phones.

Great Overall Quality

Overall Rating:
4.7 out of 5
By: Katya Power on Sunday, September 17, 2006
From: Brossard, Quebec (Canada)
Experience: 1 Months
Pros: Sound Quality, battery, features, light weight

Cons: When playing 3D games, screen may freeze a little.

Summary: This phone has been recommmended to me by a family member who used Ericssons for 10 years, and I have to agree, for overall quality, Sonys are top of the line.

This compact gadget is small enough to fit in your palm, it easily opens up with one hand and it's lighter than Razrs without being too thin. It's well equiped with all the features one would need....
Mp3 and Radio are my favorite, the sound quality and reception are exceptional.
I was suprised at how easy it was to upload songs with the Sony software.

The battery time is an impressive quality, I can leave the phone on for 3 days, turned off at night and I don't need to recharge it.
For constant talk or music time, it provides a long 9 hours which is enough for a full day, considering you come back home and charge it.

The camera quality is the main drawback, at less than a megapixel, the quality is rather poor, simulating webcams or other low end camphones. Although, anyone who invests in a phone, shouldn't choose it for camera purposes. This w300i does the job very well, and you can again upload photos via usb in a matter of seconds.

The other slight inconvenience is the small button located in the bottom right to turn on/off the device. The key is quite deep and needs to be pushed with tip of fingernails.

I really appreciate the round keypad design, they have a smooth feel and are easy to press. The orange buttons located on the top edge used for volume control come in handy, primarly useful to check the time, or any missed calls/msgs.
The outer display screen can be lit up by pressing the side button, avoiding having to flip open the phone.

An original feature is the top "handle bar" which I found very useful when I'm talking because it provides a gripping area where you can rest your fingers.
Aesthetically, it looks much better than conventional flip phones since it does not have the obvious antenna.

As for the programming and phone features, I haven't found any glitches, everything is pretty simple to use and the layout is easily changeable according to your background/theme.

This an ideal phone for anyone looking for more than simple communication tool, without paying a hefty price. It provides all the latest gadgets you need with simple to use and affordable package.
Quality is superior than standard mp3 phone.
