Sorry, my phone isn't working

Overall Rating:
2.2 out of 5
By: mike jackson on Thursday, October 19, 2006
From: jackson, MS (United States)
Experience: 11 Months
Pros: It's small

Cons: camera button in wrong place, drops a lot of calls, freezes during calls. feels cheap

Summary: This phone has a nice look but it's not dependable at all. I'm waiting on my contract to end so that I can upgrage to a better phone, please take my advice and don't buy this phone, if your carrier tries to give it to you, just say no.

Decent Features, Quiet

Overall Rating:
3.7 out of 5
By: Nick McCormick on Sunday, September 24, 2006
From: Roseville, MI (United States)
Experience: 4 Weeks
Pros: Many features on an inexpensive phone, small footprint, interchangeable faceplates

Cons: Quiet speakers, battery issues

Summary: The Z525a is a feature packed phone that gets the job done, quietly. You will have to strugle to hear inside of a crowded area. The reception is mediocre, but works okay most of the time.

Happy with the Z525a

Overall Rating:
3.8 out of 5
By: Tiffany Baxter on Wednesday, July 19, 2006
From: Norfolk, VA (United States)
Experience: 2 Weeks
Pros: Great internal display, speakerphone, menu, and reception. It's quick and easy to navigate thru the menu and all options for the camera. The video capture is longer on this phone compared to other's, even without extra memory. My favorite features is the PTT with my Cingular friends. It is so much fun!!

Cons: I wish they could have made the external display colors 65K. I also don't understand why all new phones don't have internal antennas. The antenna on this thing looks like a shopping cart handle on the back of your phone!

Summary: Besides a couple small things that could have been better, I would still recommend this phone. Talk your other friends into getting PTT with Cingular as well, because it makes this device even more fun to have!
