Palm 700 Windows

Overall Rating:
2.3 out of 5
By: Dave M on Wednesday, November 22, 2006
From: maple, UT (United States)
Experience: 3 Months
Pros: ummmm...it will make a phone call.

Cons: It uses windows operating system.

Summary: I bought this phone and have to boot it up daily. I have never been so frustrated with the exception of my other windows-based products.

Windows is not the OS of choice for phones. Go with Palm or anything else. You will be so much happier.

Like a kid in a candy store!

Overall Rating:
4.5 out of 5
By: Jessica Franklin on Friday, January 13, 2006
From: Springfield, MO (United States)
Experience: 10 Days
Pros: Some of the highlights for me: Great navigation and QWERTY keyboard. Stylus doesn't have to be used for all functions. The battery life hasn't been an issue and I have been getting wonderful reception.

Cons: $$cost$$. WiFi is missing

Summary: I think I may have been the first one in line at Verizon to buy the new Treo 700w. Even though it was expensive, I believe it was well worth it and I couldn't be happier. I have to take tons of notes in my weekly business meetings, and the keyboard and Bluetooth make it so nice to do this now.

So Far, I’m extremely impressed!

Overall Rating:
4.5 out of 5
By: David Graham on Friday, January 13, 2006
From: Atlanta, GA (United States)
Experience: 7 Days
Pros: For those of you that follow the cell phone industry, you will know that this phone just came out and I couldn’t wait to get it! So far I have nothing but great things to say. I had been using the Samsung i730 before this phone and Treo has made such a better phone.

1) Programs are easy to navigate through
2) Awesome indicators for voice mail and text messages
3) EVDO is great, Camera is great
4) The size of this phone is so much better than past PDA’s
5) Updated Windo

Cons: I have nothing bad to say about this phone.

Summary: I would like to take the time to say how impressed I am with this phone. I believe it to be the best PDA so far for 2006. Thanks Palm, Verizon, and Microsoft!
